Comments: Since Ron holland played the concrete. 4 months after it started to crack. 9 month later I have rented equipment to destroy his mess. I have and in contact with a lawyer. Please pass the word, warn people about him.

Comments: I just received a judgement from the small claims court for a contractor that works for or advertises on this companies web site his name is Ron Holland . If you are thinking about hiring him I would advise you to not pay any money in advance . I did and I am out of $13,500.00 that's what I paid for a job that was not completed .

Comments: Ron told us job would be completely finished in two weeks, took longer than 30 days. He promises much and delivers little. He is not a man of his word, and always has excuses why he did not show up to job site. He is disorganized, untrustworthy, and his workmanship is sub-par. He doesn’t stand behind his work at all. Less than 6 months and our colored patio is flaking off. He promised to come out to look at it, that was 2 weeks ago-no word at all from him. We’re going to hire a professional to fix his awful mess that we paid big bucks for. Do not hire this guy. He is all talk and does not do quality work.

Work Description: Cement patio with pergola

Comments: As with so many of these responses, Ron (aka "Wayne") began good and went down hill fast. Our $500 deposit went to $1000 when we told him that plans would have to be submitted for our HOA and a city builders permit. Said he would have to pay someone to do this. Ok, sounded reasonable and he could go ahead and do the patio since this did not require any documents. The deposit was to be applied to the overall cost beginning with the patio but when the cement truck arrived he needed the entire amount of the patio cost since the driver would not accept his credit card. No problem, the deposit amount would be applied to the pergola. Now we needed the plans for the HOA and city before he could start on the pergola. Ron would tell us that he had the documents and would drop them off the next day, the next day and maybe the next day. But there was always some reason he could not get them to us. It took us 10 minutes to draw up the pergola plans for our HOA and got approval to go forward. Now, Ron had to get the builders permit. However, the October date went to November, then December, January, February and finally March with zero results. So many broken promises and lies that we had to fire him and found someone else to complete the project for the same price. We demanded our deposit returned buy have been ignored. Small claims court seems the appropriate next action. This guy should not be hired to pick up dog excrement in your back yard! And we're not too sure about Networx as a source if they recommend people like 3 Day Patios.

Comments: Beyond terrible! Constantly promised to show up and finish in a couple of days and didn’t show up. The patio extension was very uneven and we ended up having to have it tiled over because it was so bad. The extra deck was supposed to be round with a conduit in the middle for a propane line but it is over a foot out of round and the conduit hole is way off center. It ended up costing us almost as much as he ripped us off for to redo the work to make it right. Avoid this person at all cost!!

Comments: When we were initially looking for a contractor, Ron Holland with 3 Day Patio followed up with our inquiry eager to assist with our project. He gave us what I felt at the time was a reasonable and competitive quote to do the work requested. After negotiating pricing and assuring us the project would be completed in 3 days his performance fell short and unsatisfactorily. He never kept his appointments, always had an excuse as why he couldn't come out to finish the work, always made promises after promises. This guy will lead you on until you finally have to get another contractor to do what he was supposed to do. We are now having to hire another contractor to do what we pre-paid Ron Holland to do. Bad business all around.

Work Description: Patio extension and concrete stain

Comments: I would look elsewhere if I were you. Ron was great the first day. After that, they were never on time, didn’t return calls or text for days, lots of excuses on why they were late (over 5 hours) or didn’t show up at all. Project took over a week to “complete” when promised 3 days. When they did show up they did great work but were very messy. Threw water bottles in the yard, and got stain all over everything including furniture, grass, and rocks. Also, he let a child do the concrete stain. This kid couldn’t be more than 15 or 16. He did one coat and never came back. We were told a second coat and sealant would be done but no, that was almost a year ago! He just never showed up and stopped answering messages. The stain has not held up. It’ chipped and faded within 2 months. It literally looks like crap now and I will have to pay for someone else to fix it. I already have a 5 year loan to pay off for this and now I will be out more money. Do not hire this guy. Don’t do it!! Very very very unreliable and you cannot believe anything that comes from this guys mouth! Run!!

Work Description: Design an extension to my existing backyard patio and include a walkway and firepit.

Comments: DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON!!!! He is a liar and a thief! He came to my home to discuss the work I want done. He told me if I gave him a $500 deposit he would provide me with TWO sets of plans. I set of plans to submit to my HOA for approval and a second 3D plan so that I can see what the completed work would look like in real life. After several weeks of stalling he finally provided the plans for the HOA. I told him I really needed the 3D plans so I could see what the actually finished product would look like before I moved forward. After several lies and broken promises to provide, and months passed I finally requested a partial refund of my $500 since he only provided me with partial plans. I have not heard from him since and he will not return any of my messages. THIS GUY IS A CROOK!!! He is dishonest and has no morals. Please believe the reviews that are similar to this one below. DO NOT USE 3DAY PATIOS!!!!

Comments: Initially I was very satisfied with Ron's and the quality of his work. However, after paying him $7000, he began to not honor his scheduling commitments or answer texts, email, or phone messages. When he finally did show up, after many missed appointments, we opted to cancel the remaining of the job and find someone else reliable to finish it.

Comments: DO NOT USE THIS GUY! It wouldn't let me edit my review below so I'm leaving another one. We hired him to pour a patio extension in our backyard and he did come and do that and we were happy with it until a few days later when I had someone knock on my door saying Ron did not pay them for the material. We paid this man in good faith and now I'm having to deal with this bullshit because he wants to scam people. Do not even come on here and reply back to my review with some bullshit story because you're a liar and I don't want to hear it!
The readymix provider was given our credit card prior to the dispatching of cement to the jobsite as they required. it was four days before the card was ran and by then we had already use the card on multiple other project pours. When they notified us, we had the issue resolved within a few days. This was a smaller readymix independent driver used for this small project and was more readily available for delivery. its unfortunate that this customer was not patient enough to see this resolved before posting this nasty review. There new patios was completed in only one day and a beautiful job well done as per there previously stated review. We are happy to provide any additional information about this review to inquiring parties.

Comments: Ron Holland started patio and only partially completed the work. We paid him $6,500 and has not called, emailed, text. Just took my money and started to SCAM another person. There are other companies under his name and have the same negative remarks. Look up ACE CONSTRUCTION AND CONCRETE.
this was not a custome but a competing company. We do not take any money from clients until work has been done. this is not a true and accurate review. We havr no contracts for M&M and we work in and around the Austin area. We pour 100+ projects per year and have multiple true references for anyone interested in working with us.

Comments: This contractor has yet to finish my screened in patio and I paid him in full $13,500. Ron Holland doesn't answer my phone calls any longer and my patio is half finished. The company has stopped communicating with me and they have all of their money for the job. I paid upfront thinking that the job was going to get completed in a more timely manner but they STOLE MY MONEY. I'm 77 years old and my wife is 81 years old and they are taking advantage of us. I don't know what to do at this point. I'm a retired vet and trying to live out my retirement without people trying to steal from me because I'm not young anymore. I just want my patio completed ASAP!
We have been in constant contact with this client and hace spoken with as recently as this morning. There project was three phases totaling $16,500. Each phase has been pay on completion. The new concrete patio was completed first and then the client paid. Secondly there solid roof patio cover was constructed and then they paid. the last phase of screening in the cover has been reschedule due to weather and rain on two occasion. We understand the clients impatiens to complete the project. However we are unable to controlled the weather delays and we are diing our best to accommodate the situation. All of the work on this project has been paid on completion. No money has been taken for work not complete by contract. The project is expected to complet by 11/5. We do our best to accommodate the needs of our clients at a fair price fir quantity work. We are saddened that this client has theses feelings. We are happy to share any information about this project or review with interested parties.

Comments: Brought 3 day in to fix the work done by another group. If you are going to have concrete work done you MUST have a professional group with expertise in this specific type of work. The work was done professionally in 2 days actually. The patios look great now. Would definitely recommend 3 Day Patios.
