WAO Builders Inc. is a Florida licensed construction company. We are a design/build firm specializing in custom remodeling and new construction for both residential and commercial clients in Central Florida including Seminole, Orange, Brevard and Volusia counties.

WILLIAM (BILL) A. OCKENDEN, CGP, CAPS - PRESIDENT

Bill has been crafting custom remodeling and new construction projects since 1986 giving him 25 years in the construction industry. He founded WAO Builders Inc., in 2006. Ockenden quickly established himself as an industry leader. He was elected by his industry peers to serve as the 2011 Chair of the Remodelers Council of the Home Builders Association of Metro Orlando after serving as Vice Chairman of the Council in 2010. Bill is also a member of the Green Building Coalition, US Green Building Council, the National Association of Home Builders, the Florida Home Builders Association, the National Aging in Place Council, and the Better Business Bureau.

Craftsmanship is second nature to Ockenden. Bill grew up in the Amish Country of southeastern Pennsylvania and was surrounded by and exposed to amazing craftsmen. Bill is passionate about partnering with his clients to deliver superior quality workmanship and maximum customer satisfaction.
