Comments: My initial interaction with TR was very positive. I was given a bid that I accepted and the work was done in a timely manner. I was given instructions on how to water for the following three weeks which I followed as instructed. At the end of three weeks, I was told that the lawn would be fertilized as I guess three weeks is time for the sod to take hold. I communicated with TR and was told it was too hot to fertilize and if they did, the sod would burn. It made total sense and was told when it was a bit cooler that would be done. I also mentioned an area and sent pictures to TR about a very small area that did not seem to be growing at all. TR told me no problem, they would.bring a few pieces of sod to replace that area which I was thankful for. The problem is, TR has NEVER shown up to complete the work. The contract says “payment upon completion “ … well I paid in full but the work has never been completed. I was told I “had not been forgotten “ and it would be done. It has not been done… I must have been forgotten. The contract in the part of Turf Rescue has not been fulfilled and that is very disappointing. I am starting to get bids on my back yard for sod and sadly, I will not ask Turf Rescue for a bid.

This is absolutely false. The "timely manner" was the installation of the sod, and yes, that was done in a timely manner as I stated. The notification that the lawn was fertilized, is not true; I was NEVER notified of this. If it was, please tell me how this was communicated to me? Turf Rescue had an opportunity to make the situation right by doing what they said they would do, fertilize. Normally, a company would leave some kind of notification that they had been by and completed the work. Turf Rescue's assertion that they notified me is absolutely not true. The contract HAS NOT been fulfilled and if it has as they say, please let me know how I was notified.

#1 We absolutely did fertilize Mr.George's lawn and this was communicated. He was not home when we fertilized which only took a few minutes. The very small area of grass that he is referencing was actually just fine. My team and myself observed the area in question and the grass was in good shape. I think it is interesting how he says in the first line of his review that the work was completed in a timely manner but later in his review he says it was not. It is exactly why i make sure i reply when people do this because people like to exaggerate and lie about situations to get people to believe them or whatever their angle might be. The contract was fulfilled and he is completely aware of that. We take care of our customers fully. It is why we have been in business for 30 years and why we are consistently busy with work.

Comments: We spent over $30,000.00 on landscaping with Turf Rescue in May of 2022. To be fair, Bill has wonderful ideas. The issue is that he will NOT honor his warranty! We had several plants and trees die in the first couple of weeks after planting. We agreed with Bill to wait until it cooled down before replacing the dead plants. We started contacting Bill in October so he could get us on his schedule. We were told by him that he was really busy and would get back to us. This never happened! We have several texts and emails from Bill stating that he would honor his warranty and there would not be any issues. Fast forward to March 2023, I called him, he did not recognize my number, but texted back that he was in a meeting. I gave him our address again so as he said, so he could swing by and see how many plants he would need. Since that time we have not heard from him at all. I've sent a few texts that were never answered. Bottom line is, as long as you owe him money he'll stay on top of things, but as soon as he has to replace any plants he becomes a ghost! Don't trust him.

I made it very clear like i do with all of my clients that it is imperative to hand water new plant material excessively for the first three weeks. The sprinkler system is not sufficient when you first plant. The specimen need to be watered all the way through. This is exactly what was stressed to him. Even before we completed the work the plants installed in the front yard were not being watered and i had to tell him again that in order for the warranty to be applicable you must water. If something dies and i remove the plant and it is bone dry the warranty does not cover that. It covers plants that just die for whatever reason but were taken care of. I did come back to inspect the dead plant material so that is the first thing that is not true. That is when i observed plants that died of lack of watering. And no i do not always recognize someone's number calling me 6 months after we complete a job for them. I talk to and do work for hundreds of people. Rick is the exact reason that i hate doing warranties because you always have people who want to abuse it. Then when they don't get their way and they are the actual one who is at fault here comes the bad review with exaggeration and fabrication. My reviews are stellar because we do great work. I stand by my warranties and normally never have to return to replace plant material because 98% of my clients are responsible and know how important it is to water when plants are acclimating to a new environment.

Comments: Literally dropped off 2 7 foot palm trees in my back yard and determined at that time he wasn’t able to plant them, said we needed some work done to the area first. Ok no problem, was given a quote and were told his guys would be back the same day to do some sprinkler work so the area would be dry and ready to be prepped for upcoming work. No one ever came back. Over the course of a week we repeatedly asked when he would be coming out to finish the work, no answer. I finally called a week later, just trying ti find out if he will be able to complete the work or do I have to find someone new he told me I’m on the schedule but doesn’t know when, others have booked before me?!? Uhmmm ok, can you just tell me when and are my palm trees ok laying in a bed of rocks until then?! Unable to give me any info regarding when they are coming over but in the schedule. Ok. She asked why he’s not responding to us asking literally every day for a week when he will be completing his work his response was that he is busy at work around loud machines…so you too busy to respond to your customers over the course of a week? Basically he didn’t like me asking him about his lack of communication and said I’m being hostile 😂
Just tell me you are too busy and I’ll move on, that simple.

This lady did not even hire my company. The guy who installed her pool hired us to do the work. When we showed up with the Palm trees their backyard was flooded because they had a serious drainage issue in their backyard. I told her husband who was a very nice guy that the palm trees would die if they were installed in this water that was a foot in depth. I also explained to him there was no way we could do the work in foot deep water. It would need to dry out and they would need to get their drainage issue fixed first. He absolutely agreed. He went inside to tell his wife and she flipped. Not dealing with someone yelling and screaming like a maniac. I called the guy who hired us to do the work and explained to him what happened. He apologized to me and also explained to me she was a huge problem during the pool build and was a huge reason why it took them so long to finish.

Comments: I have read through the reviews for Turf Rescue, and it's clear that when situations like what happened to us come up, the client is accused of lying. So if that is the response to me, it will only prove my point.

If you don't have time to read my whole review, take away this key point: the job was not completed, and all communication was dropped - just a huge mess in my yard that I now have to pay to have dealt with, and money I'll never see again.

We hired Turf Rescue to build 4 garden beds. We had a contract, and paid a 50% deposit.

We never knew when they were coming, because it was not at the times they indicated. When they did show up, they wouldn't stay long, and then we would have no clue when to expect them again. They did the wrong measurements on the first bed two times in a row, so my husband took a tape measure to show them. These are rectangular shapes, nothing crazy. On top of that, they busted a sprinkler line in the area of one of the other beds they dug out.

Eventually, they stopped responding to any calls, texts, etc. and never showed up again.

I initiated all of this back before the 1st of the year, and was left with nothing but piles of stone, mud pits of the wrong measurements, and one incomplete bed that was falling down a week after they built it because they didn't do anything to hold it in place. And of course, the busted sprinkler line. Which they did not tell us about, or fix.

We contacted them to ask for a prorated refund of the deposit for the percentage of work they had actually done, and still have never received any communication whatsoever.

We hired Bill Mobley to rescue our dying lawn: grass didn’t want to grow in the shady areas under the big oak trees.

Bill and his team pruned our overgrown oak trees, stripped the leftovers of old Bermuda grass, prepared soil for re-sodding and installed new shade-resistant Zoysia sod. Bill also suggested to update the existing tree rings and flowerbeds with Oklahoma chopped stone borders and change mulch color. We decided to go with his recommendations. When everything was completed, our front yard looked fabulous. Job well done.

Bill is knowledgeable and talented guy, he works out of inspiration, and his vision is professional. He has a well-trained and hardworking crew. We absolutely love how the Turf Rescue team transformed our front yard. But, if you expect your landscape project to be finished quickly, keep in mind that Bill is in a high demand and delays are possible. Getting a response to our phone calls, SMS, and emails has also been a problem sometimes.

However, if you have luxury to wait until Bill comes to do his magic, hire him - you will be rewarded and very satisfied at the end.

Comments: I have to say Bill was great to work with on the initial project. He was responsive, his vision was great and when he was finished our flower beds looked great! In my initial review I even gave him a 5 star rating. However, a couple weeks after he finished we noticed some plants didn't look good. I contacted Bill several times and first he said he would come out and asked me to send him pictures of the plants, which I did. Then he was out of town for a family issue. I contacted him again and once he was back he asked me to send him pictures of the plants again, which I did. He said he would pick up replacement plants the next morning. That was 3 weeks ago and he still hasn't been out to look at the plants. It has been over a month since I originally asked him to come out and take a look at the plants but he has never shown up In his contract he states he guarantees the plants for 6 months but apparently that's not the case. If you are looking for someone to do the design and initial planting Bill is great but don't expect him to come back if there is an issue or honor his 6 month guarantee on the plants.

In a world where customer service has largely gone down the drain. Turf Rescue stands out as a business entity that still practices Resonsiveness, Integrity, Communication, Intelligence, Experience and Knowledge.....of their various areas of expertise.

While highly impressed with their "old time" VALUES, the thing that struck me most was that the owner of Turf Rescue, Bill Mobley, was on-site for every phase of their operations. That's not to say he was sitting in an air conditioned truck or standing around....Bill was working side-by-side with his crew members....sweating, getting dirty, giving instructions, making corrections when needed and giving encouragement when earned.

Bill corrected a major drainage issue associated with rainwater run-off eroding my front and back yard lawns, as well as, subsequently making a major overhaul of my landscaping. After witnessing the quality in which Turf Rescue did these projects, I decided to have them take over the weekly maintenance of my yard.

Bill is a graduate of Seton Hall University and has been in the lawn business for 18 years. He is also fluent in Spanish.

In my opinion, if you want a lawn company with current ideas, but one that practices "old time" values and work practices, call Bill Mobley at (817) 707-9321. I highly rate Bill Mobley and his company, TURF RESCUE....based on my personal experience and observations.

I had one contractor price my repair for $4,000 and I was like "seriously". Comments: Bill was introduced to me by a friend in the area who had also recently hired him. I had just purchased a home and needed some general landscaping cleanup, as well as trimming of 3 very large live oaks that were hanging over my house.

I had gotten 2 other bids to trim my trees and both went into great depth of how to properly trim trees compared to Bill. Any time I asked Bill to go over specifically what his plans were, he would always default to the "I've been doing this for 17 years, I know what I’m doing” comment. In my conversations with him at this point, he came off as very knowledgeable and trustworthy so I took his word for it and hired him.

Fast forward to the job being completed. I was out of town at the time he completed the work. When I arrived at the property, I found a giant pile of limbs on my front yard, as well as a dozen very large trash bags filled with leaves/limbs. He told me his trailer axel had broken so it was understandable. He said he would have it fixed within the next week and would come back to grab the debris.

It’s also worth noting he stacked all of the limbs (and I’m talking A LOT of large branches) right on top of the main water shut off valve. And of course I had a need to shut off the water one day and couldn’t.

Now for the trees - I have 2 gorgeous live oaks in the front of my house. It’s one of the primary curbside features that makes the front landscaping attractive. Bill, for lack of a better word, hacked the heck out of the trees. Didn’t cut them back to the trunk like you should. Basically turned what was a very appealing feature into an extreme eye sore. He had told me he would just take some of the weight off of the branches encroaching on the roof of the house, but instead just hacked them off at random spots where the tree was a good 1-2 ft in diameter. It now looks awful!!!

Nearly two weeks later, Bill had finally come back to get the limbs and trash bags. Again, he scooped them up while I was not home. When I got back home, I found he only grabbed the limbs and not the trash bags. When I asked him when he was coming back, he told me to just set them by the curb and the trash company would get them.

I explained to him that in Ft Worth, they do not pick up yard clippings unless they are in the correct prepaid bag. He went on to tell me the same type of thing “I’ve been doing this for X years, trust me, they’ll pick them up.” So I hauled the dozen massive trash bags out to the curb, where they sat for nearly 3 weeks before Bill finally agreed to come get them after many back and forth exchanges.

And here is the most hilarious part of this whole interaction. In that 3 week period while I was waiting for Bill to come collect the trash bags of clippings, my friend who referred him to me had mentioned in passing to Bill that I was not happy with the service he provided. Bill called me to confront me about it in what I can only describe as “one of the most unprofessional calls I’ve ever been a part of.”

He claimed zero fault on poor job he did at my property, the issue with the limbs, or with the trash bags. And instead took defense that someone was not pleased with his services. Extremely unprofessional and downright immature.

I have since hired a new landscaper, and in the process of finding a new one, I had 3 separate companies come and view the property. The first comment all 3 of them made was “who ruined your trees?”.

I would seriously caution anyone who plans to hire Turf Rescue for their work. Do not be fooled with how he comes across before getting your business. Bill is just a salesperson, and the second he gets your business he stops caring.

Absolutely not true. Amazing how people can really fabricate a situation to make themselves feel good and look credible. The work was done correctly as it was supposed to be done. He loved the trimming after he inspected everything. Only issue was my trailer axle failing and we removed the debris as soon as I got it fixed and it was not 2 weeks.

Yes, sadly as many people have stated, he is very reluctant to return phone calls or respond to text messages. He doesn’t show up when he promises he will. He does NOT do the things he says he will do.
I gave him a $1,500 deposit to do Hardscape in my backyard. Bill reneged on his agreement, and never returned my deposit.
As I said, he is very charming and persuasive. He charmed me (70+ years old ) into advancing money on a project he never completed.
Maybe he only takes advantage of the elderly, or maybe he has various, serious personal problems that he is reluctant to discuss or reveal. I don’t really know. But I do know, his performance is ,at best, disappointing. Too bad. He seems like a really nice guy, and I wish him the best in his future endeavors.

Absolutely not true. Mr. Grubbs is not even a customer of mine. The guy that does all of my fence work told me he needed french drains. Jason said it was a very small quick job so I decided to do it. He warned me before going out there that this guy was an issue when he did the fence work. From the start of the work he literally stood basically shoulder to shoulder with my guys the whole time we worked. I had to tell him that we could not work like that. As i helped my guys wheelbarrowing dirt to the trailer he stood beside me talking as i went back and forth. Contrary to the lies he just expressed above he absolutely loved our work. We built retaining walls along with a paver walkway that came out fabulous. If i could attach pictures i would. All of the work was done very fast and in consecutive days. He actually was giving me compliments on how fast we worked. What was super weird is that he would text me after hours to talk about things not even related to our work for 5-6 days. He wanted me to send him a picture of my dog, asking me how i was doing etc. In the beginning of the work he asked me about doing a patio so he agreedr to my proposal and gave me a $1500 deposit. As we were working i knew if i did the patio he would be standing out there talking and walking following us back and forth. I texted him the next evening and told him we would not be doing the patio and i told him that the balance that he owed me on the drainage work which was $1500 he could just keep instead of paying me which would return his patio deposit. He agreed. So when we finished the drainage work we were even. This is why i get so mad when people CLEARLY LIE about situations that happen. TOTALLY FRUSTRATING. That is why i make sure i reply when things like this occur. He continued to ask me why i did not want to do the patio and i told him i did not want to be rude but i proceeded to tell him. He said that understood and if sometimes if he is being too much or annoying to tell him a d he will stop. Just to be clear. I had all of the pavers stacked in his backyard and i had my guys remove all of them by hand. I cannot believe the things this guy is saying about me in this bogus review. The ridiculous part about this false review is that i saw him yesterday because he needed two really small pavers fixed. Literally took me 5 minutes to do. He came outside and told me he left me a great review a d said all these great things. UNBELIEVABLE. This man is a liar liar liar. I called Jason back and told him about the situation and he said he was not the least bit surprised. To sum this up, I am not perfect all of the time and have no problem being accountable when I am not. But i will not let someone lie on me and say i took their money and never did work because I do not do that. I have plenty of reviews to prove that is not true. I am a stand up guy and have always been. When people are dissatisfied with something or you do not do something immediately when they want it they exaggerate and lie because they want people to believe their side of a story. Comments: Bill is a nice guy and very genuine but I gotta junk improvement is needed on communication, safety, and attention to detail. Root grinding began before utility lines were checked and his crew came very close to hitting a line. The crew did not remove roots as promised and there remains a lot of roots. This may be due to utility lines but this was not communicated. The stump grinding and root removal caused extensive yard damage which I expected and I decided to re-sod. Bills team did the work but covered over drain traps and utility covers and I need to now find them and make sure they are accessible. The new sod resulted in the need to raise sprinkler heads for adequate water coverage. Bill agreed to do the work in this to but did not show to do the work. He did not return my texts so I did it myself. For the price I paid in the work, just under $6,000. I was expecting better quality and attention to detail and follow up to ensure total satisfaction. The grass looks nice and trees and new border do too, but if I had it to do all over, knowing what I know now, I would have got more quotes and did a more thorough reference check.

This property was absolutely full of roots. We did a very thorough job of removing as many roots as we.could. Someone could have spent days removing roots in that front yard. I had Jeremy run the irrigation system before we started the work so i could see where they were located. I expressed to him at that time that the heads were way too low in the ground. I told him once the sod was installed they would need to be raised. I offered to raise the heads but he decided to do it himself

4/17: " We are coming to fix the sprinkler and patch the grass this afternoon" I asked about post boxes, didn't have them with him, didn't matter because No Call No Show

4/23: "Yes Rick. I apologize. Super busy. I have time slotted for you Monday/Tuesday". (presume Mon 4/27 or Tue 4/28).

4/27: I sent txt 8:16am for status. Reply: "My guy is building the extra post boxes this afternoon." No Call No Show

4/29: I sent his txt from Mon re: "....slotted you for Monday/Tuesday".
Bill's Reply: "Yes I said that. You asked for an update. We built the post boxes. Staining them today" Did not address coming out or why No Show on Mon/Tue. Also sent him the "punch list" of items.

I could go on, but last txt I'll share I let him know I had leaks in the sprinkler system. His reply: "We do not have anything to do with that. You need to call your irrigation guy." Keep in mind, this was after TWICE committing to come out and fix the sprinklers.

For the record, I had my irrigation guy out a week prior to Bill's team and everything was working as needed. In addition to not completing the work by ensuring the irrigation worked, they cut the low voltage lighting wire in two places, so I had to have the lighting guy trace and repair.

Bottom line, Bill is very personable guy, very knowledgeable and when they are here, they do good work (sprinkler issues and wire cuts are always a risk). BUT, at this point finishing my job is an expense to Bill.. He is busy chasing big checks for other jobs.

If you decide to use them DO NOT pay up front or you'll be chasing them down.

Last thing I would add. Read the other reviews, particularly the negative ones. Bill is very defensive and takes no responsibility for anything, I expect the same for this review.

6 month follow up. After receiving calls from the moderator of the site if I would alter my rating if Bill came out and remediated the situation, which of course I would. I followed up with the moderator who said Bill was not responding to him.

So here we are 6 months later and we now have an area of about 200 sq ft where apparently the soil underneath was not sufficiently tilled and so the old Bermuda grass is coming through the Zoysia. I was hoping everything would work out but just not gonna happen.

Work Description: Spent over $10,000 to re-landsacpe pool area and side yard with river rock and pavers

Comments: What a nightmare, started in October of 2018 and still never finished the job. Contractor showed pavers that were going to be installed and used something different( cheaper smaller ones) did not put in proper drainage and house flooded on first big rain, had to spend additional $1200 with a plumbing contractor to put in sump pump so house quit flooding. Turf Rescue put in a french drain on outside of fence for additional $800 that never worked. ( wasted money). we made several calls during November to get work finished but never got responses , just excuses. we had to pay someone to haul off all the trash left by this contractor by our garage because city gave us a citation. Never finished tree trimming that we paid for. several weeds are already coming back in where the contractor put down weed block that said would prevent weeds. basically very dissatisfied with the work and would advise anyone else to save their money and waste of time , there are better contractors that are fair and finish their work.

The only delay in completion of work at this residence was the side yard which consistently stays flooded because his neighbor's yard grades down to his. I saw this in the beginning and stressed to him to have us install a French drain. He did not want to spend the money. I told him if we installed pavers there it would 100% flood out. He wanted it anyway. After a month when the rain finally stopped and the mud pit somewhat dried out we installed the pavers. The first rain we had it completely flooded just like I said it would. He proceeds to call me up irate about the flooding which I told him would happen. He and his wife blame me for the situation and threaten to give me bad reviews etc. I went back to try and please them because they wanted some other small work done which I did and they were actually happy at that point. Did my best to satisfy them by returning and doing extra work and they are now bad mouthing me. I do my best to diagnose issues when I see them in the beginning so this does not happen. I am very good at what I do. That is why my customers give me great reviews. Can't please everyone. No matter what.

Absolutely need to respond to the untruths being expressed by this customer. This guy is hated by all of his neighbors whom approached me and my guys as we were installing the landscape which we had to remove because he had us install stone on his neighbor's property. He also tried to force us to install sod on mud when we had rain days for 2 weeks straight which i refused to do because i knew it would not be the right thing to do. There is a major drainage issue in his front yard which i informed him that needed to be fixed by us or someone else because the constant moisture would cause root rot to new plants or trees and also kill newly installed sod. He refused after i showed him the issue. So that i could move on to other work i fixed the issue on my own, installed the rest of the landscape material with one day to finish and he told us to stop work and he was getting someone else to finish. Never got the finishing balance owed to me on the work. We do great work and i have many reviews to prove it. I have to respond to individuals trying to defame my company with untruths.

Comments: This Project was started with Turf Rescue/Bill Mobley November 2017 and has yet to be completed.

1st Project- Retaining Wall top cap is still not adhered to top with adhesive for stability. Bill will say it is "Basically Completed" but that is "Not Completed".

2nd Project-Pool Decking Removal/Paver Install only the "Removal Pool Decking" has been completed. Paver Installation has not even been stated.

3rd Project-Patio Removal, Paver Install, Fence & Gate Install. Cedar Fence has been installed around pool area, but Fence installed in back area was not Cedar and has started warping and coming apart. This still needs to be replaced with Cedar. Also, Fence was hand painted with stain, not sprayed on so wood in back shows through and top of Fence was not stained.

4th Project-Sod Install/Front Bed Landscaping/Stone Border/Lighting. The Front Bed Landscaping is very good, because that is what Bill really likes to do. Stone Border in front still doesn't have cap adhered down. I was told he would "Sod Cut" the existing grass out instead he used my lawnmower to shave down grass/weeds. Before installing new grass, I was concerned about weeds coming back, Bill's comment was "we do this all the time and the weeds will not come thru the grass squares". Now we have weeds coming out in the same areas we had before replacing grass.

The first 2 Projects had a "Time of Completion: All work will be completed in 8-10 working days, weather permitting". This was 11/05/2017 Retaining Wall Project and "Time of Completion: All work will be completed in 10 working days, weather permitted" for Pool Decking Remove/Paver Install dated 11/26/2017.
I believe we have had 8-10 "Weather Permitting Days" since November 2017.
We figured we would have a Great Front Yard, Retaining Wall & Pavers around refinished pool & New Privacy Fence for Summer & July 4th.

Bill has complained that I have been "Argumentative" when questioning when he will come back and asking if he would like to have his yard to look like this for 6-7 months. He has said he was coming the next day and then I would send a message the next day asking "if the next day was yesterday's next day or tomorrow's next day". He is responsive at his convivence. If anyone would like to see examples of what I am sure Bill will deny I can send you copies of Text Messages, just ask.

Comments: Coincidentally, my last submission yielded a return text from Bill - could not get a response from literally 10-12 calls/text but my submission did.
It was a series of poor unsubstantiated attempts to some how justify lack of return calls/texts not to mention not honoring my product warranty. The information I have submitted is completely factual, I have text that support same. I will not submit another response post this, but Buyer Be Ware. In addition, I have signed additional work on my property with another landscape company. Several thousand dollars that have gone to another company - not to mention my justifiable ill will.

Yes i did return a text Mr. Armstrong concerning the statements that were made about my company and the untruths it included. Before i go any further, when i speak of untruths anyone who reads this please look at the two reviews he made on my company and look at the ratings he gave my company on both posts. That speaks volumes and it is exactly what i am speaking on when i talk about false statements. I am very happy he made a second post because anyone who looks at his ratings on both posts will see the inconsistencies in his statements. It is ashame that two individuals have to go back and forth like this but i will always defend my actions when someone is trying to make me look bad when i have fulfilled my obligations. I have no warranty issues with Phil as stated in my earlier reply to the accusations. My reviews speak for themselves and have many homeowners that know me and my professionalism. Extremely disappointing that warranty work not only is not covered but Bill will not even return phone calls to do what is right.

It is ashame when someone leaves false information in reviewing companies. The truth is that Phil called me many months after the work was completed and shared with me that his two Crepe Myrtles had not bloomed yet but were not dead. I explained to him that sometimes trees go into shock when planted in a new environment as he agreed. He then asked me if i could swap them out for pink instead of the ones he had. I then explained that the nursery will only replace dead specimen. If they are not dead then i cannot return them as a warranty item. So he now decides he wants to leave a sketchy review about my company whom does fantastic work. This is exactly why i make it my business to respond to untruths about not returning phone calls and so called warranty work. We also installed a beautiful cedar fence for him. His neighbor decided to install a fence that was larger than his and he proceeded to call me and blame me for what his neighbors had every right to do on their own property. Regardless of these things i still think Phil is a nice man but i do not appreciate untruths.

Comments: Bill Mobley of Turf Rescue came to give me a bid for replacing my fence. He said he would call me the next day (Wed.) to verify that he would be staring on Thursday. He never called until 10:30 Wednesday only after I left him several emails and voice mails throughout the day Wednesday. I have given him a $1500.00 down payment which he said he would return to me several times. This has been going on since 4/11/17. I just want my deposit back.

It is amazing how someone can write a review full of ridiculous lies. I booked the fence work with her on a Tuesday night and she gave me the $1500 deposit so we could do the install on thursday. At the end of the day wednesday when i check my email there were 8 emails. She was asking why we did not show up to do the fence. The work was scheduled for thursday not wednesday. That was written in the contract that she signed to. She was ranting in the emails saying i took her money and her voicemails were absolutely insane. Thursday morning i went directly to her house to talk with her but she was not home. Her husband was there. Very nice man. He had no idea what was going on a thought i was there to install the fence as we spoke and agreed on. I told him what his wife said in the voicemails and emails and he was astonished. He immidiately called her at work as i stood there and i could hear her on the phone with him going absolutely nuts. He gives me the phone and she tells me to stop telling her husband what she did and to get out of her house. I immidiately leave her house as her husband repeatedly was apologizing to me and called the police. Police came and i told them the situation showed them the contract. I told them the messages she left ranting saying she stopped payment on the check she gave me. She lied to the police saying she never said that. I played the voicemail for the police and showed them the emails. I told the police that i would wait to make sure the check i deposited cleared before i returned her money because it would be taken out of my account again if i returned her money that day. They agreed. I notified my financial institution and the called me 4 days later and notified me the check did clear. I immidiately wrote her a business check and overnight mailed the money to her and i have tje check image. Her neighbors who were sharing the fence called me and apologized about her and told me they believe she has dimentia which is exactly what the police told me after speaking with her. Not sure what is going on with this woman but i am 100% not a fault.

The shrubs and plants were removed but not the stumps. Time passed and when I didn't hear from him I called and left messages asking when he was coming back to finish the job. The calls were not returned and when he finally did get in touch he told me the contract was cancelled citing personal reasons. He promised a lot and delivered nothing. Very disappointing especially after his previous work. The only reason I gave him 1 star was if I didn't I would be able to post this. He deserves 0 stars for the way this was handled.

The workers did an excellent job of cleaning up. Everyone was very courteous especially Bill. The lawn is filled with snow right now but Bill assured me he will be back when the snow is gone to finish the clean up.
