Lakshmi Jackman, president of locally woman-owned and operated: Transformations Building & Remodeling in Austin, Texas. She has been in business in the Austin area as a residential remodel and new construction contractor for twenty years.

Even as a child, Lakshmi was the best little fort builder in Texas; now she is building a residential design and new construction company on a foundation of premiere customer service!
Lakshmi has been a board member for the Austin chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, has served as the chair for the Women in Remodeling committee, and as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Even as an adult, she still loves carpentry, and considers the skills she has to be her art. She has extensive leadership and communications training, and just happens to be one of the best listeners on the planet.
