Work Description: Whole house interior paint job.
Comments: I WOULD NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY ALSO DBA OTTO TO THE RESCUE NOR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! On 11/4 I met with Evelyn Foster who purported to be the owner of the company. She came with Otto, viewed my home, and gave me a quote. Work began on 11/5. When things were not to my satisfaction and she had to address a few issues regarding her employees’ work ethic, she became only the secretary. I was promised a crew of 3 or 4 and received a crew of two, Otto and Hector. Hector worked tirelessly. Otto took many breaks, ran errands, and sat by the pond. I was guaranteed my paint job would be completed in 4 days. On the fourth day, 11/8, Evelyn broke the contract and left my home in total disarray, with only the ceilings painted, a few of the closets sloppily painted with paint drips throughout my kitchen, and some molding primed. Otto stole the material he purchased with my money and left my house a mess. Evelyn’s reason for breaking the contract, was that I complained too much. I expected to return home to find my home free of their personal trash and not have my belongings damaged. That was too much to ask. This company and the various names they chose to work under, which is really a husband and wife team, are scammers and NOT to be trusted. I sued them in court and won my case on 1/19/18.
