Comments: Michael quoted me a certain amount for my backsplash. At the time of our consultation, I showed him the tile and the area to be tiled. Once he started work, he told me that he was going to have to charge me more money because there were "so many cuts to make." When I questioned that and mentioned that he knew ahead of time what the tile looked like and the style I wanted, he repeatedly raised his voice in front of my mother and 9 month old child. He said so many incredibly rude things that I can't detail here, but I was made extremely uncomfortable. He then dumped a home Depot paint bucket full of water all over my kitchen floors and said "I cleaned your floors for you." The water then leaked into my basement. He also went all around my house asking other contractors for materials and questioning then about their work, which he was not hired to do. Needless to say, I was horrified and really upset by the experience. We all get frustrated and have had days, but I couldn't believe someone would treat us that way, especially in front of my baby. The work he did was terrible and I'm now paying someone to demo his work and fix it. For reference, the price he wanted was $1000 for 20 square feet of tiling, not including materials.Augusta GA

Comments: Michael is professional and punctual. We are a military family who just moved to Forsyth Co. area, and with a military budget. Michael provided quality work for our tight budget and told my husband he will come back to shave down our door, since now that the tile is in, the floor is a bit higher. He also ran into unforeseen problems, yet didn't try to renegotiate our agreed upon price for this job. Future projects is to finish our laundry room with cabinetry and a sink, and Michael had beautiful examples of home renovations he has done, and look forward to using him again for this future job.
