Work Description: The project, which was split into two quotes, consisted of a complete bathroom remodel as well as framing and installation of several doors and a small amount of basic painting.
Comments: There were a number of issues with the work, at least one of which is very serious. We had two huge problems during the bathroom work: 1) the downstairs neighbor was flooded and their ceiling had to be rebuilt; and 2) the faucet wall of the tub was improperly placed and was sinking, and had to be replaced. Also, a small but odd point, given the workmen were presumably carpenters. One set of doors installed was a solid, double leaf door between foyer and living room. Instead of installing the expected flush bolt to secure the blind leaf (which would have required experienced mortising of the door), the men installed a surface mount barrel bolt. I assume because this was simpler, or was more equal to the skill set. The most serious issue, however, did not develop until some few months after the work was completed. The bathtub developed cracks in one area because the floor of the tub was not properly supported. Stepping on the tub you actually feel the tub flex. With the advent of light weight tubs proper support is absolutely critical. Internet research indicates many sites that state this is the most common cause of this type of cracking. When this was brought to the owner's attention (Mr. Gannie) he told us 1) it must be a manufacturing defect and that we should contact the manufacturer and 2) if we wanted the tub replaced he would quote us for the work. He was defensive, disinterested and after the one email has completely ceased responding. I will never use this contractor again, and would not except for the most simple cosmetic repairs

Comments: This project was finished in a timely manner had few corrections but Mr Gannie sent a guy to fix all our concerns. Overall would recommend to others. Fast estimate, Punctual, job finished on time, good work , reasonable price,attention to details, only thing the crew lacked was proper communication with the owner for items to be purchased.
