Work Description: Addition build
Comments: Lemke is a con man. Not sure if one word out of his mouth was ever true. He was hired to build an addition for us. Halfway through the job, which was already 4 months behind his proposed schedule, we were alerted by inspectors that nearly nothing he did was to code. The roof leaked and bowed, the foundation was too short, the walls weren't square, and he used poor quality materials. In the end, we had to tear down the entire building and start from scratch. We lost nearly $20k to this guy who probably never put hammer to nail before in his life. Turns out he had multiple lawsuits open to vendors and other customers so t wasn't even worth suing. Not to mention his insurance wouldn't cover it because he did not build to our plans. Happy to send photos of that disaster he called "craftsmanship". Would not even hire this person to build your bird house. Run.Sandy UT

My parents and in-laws also call Lemke Construction for any and all projects.I've had them do everything in my home from patching a hole to additions to a full gut and remodel on my kitchen and basement. Lemke Construction has done quality work on all my projects. Not only is there work amazing but they also have offered other suggestions on projects that I never would of thought of. I am so happy with any work they have done for me and my family. I will definitely call Lemke Construction again. I know that me and my family have a Contractor for many more years to come.

Work Description: Finishing Our Basement
Comments: My parents hired Danny Lemke with Lemke construction earlier this year in January 2020 to finish part of their basement to turn it into an apartment for my boyfriend and I to live in. Danny told us that it would be done at the end of March because my boyfriend's lease at his old apartment was going to be up in early April and then he would move in with me into our newly finished apartment in the basement. However, this was not the case the basement did not get finished in time and my boyfriend had to move into my small bedroom with me. Danny told us that he had a crew that would help him work on the basement but he was always there alone and continued to promise that his crew was going to show up but they never did. Danny was "sick" almost every other week he would have long periods off with little to no notice. He had excuses time after time as to why he couldn't come work on the basement. When Danny bothered to show up we questioned Danny about when the basement would be done after he was months behind schedule he would tell us that it would be done in "2 weeks " he continued to tell us "2 weeks" even after the project was 10 months behind in November. I finally convinced my parents to fire Danny after I saw that he has an F rating on the better business bureau and came across some troubling reviews about him not finishing projects and running off with people's money. After bringing this knowledge to my parents and seeing that no progress was being made on the basement they decided to fire him. Danny did not give my parents the rest of the supplies back that he bought with their money and we also did not get any money back from him. Now it is December 11 months since the project was started it has almost been a whole YEAR since the project began my boyfriend and I are still living in my bedroom because the basement never got finished. We now have hired a new contractor who found out that DANNY NEVER GOT A PERMIT to work on the basement in the first place so now everything is going to have to be torn down and restarted this has been such a nightmare for my whole family.
