Work Description: A water leak resulted in an exploratory hole in my kitchen ceiling and another in the wall of my upstairs laundry room. The plumbers left both a mess. So, I looked for a drywall repair man and found KBG Construction on the Internet.
Comments: In general, I dread hiring contractors. Some are surly, some unreliable, some are even stupidly amused by your inability to do the work yourself. And, my pet peeve, many leave you with follow-up jobs to the one you hired them to do! (Example, I had one electrician upgrade my electrical service only to find that he removed some siding to attach a box to the side of the house. "Oh, you shouldn't have a hard time matching it," he claimed with a straight face.)My entire experience with KBG Construction was not only stress-free but actually enjoyable. Bart Grata arrived when promised, did the work quickly and well, was consistently cheerful and helpful, anticipated most questions and answered the few additional ones.
I whole-heartedly recommend KBG Construction if, perchance, you would also enjoy working with a personable professional who does the job right and at a reasonable price. They'll be the first I'll call when my house again needs help and, when it does, I'll make that call without the usual sense of dread!
Integrity and pride are, indeed, still available. I like the company. And, just as important to me, I like its owner too.
