Comments: Steer clear of Hard Working Young Men and Better Built owned by Sean Fancher. Before you decide to work for or with Sean make sure you look at reviews and public court records (Stark, Summit, and possibly more counties).In the 4 short weeks I worked for him, I was accused of stealing tools, I was never paid on time, two of the payments weren’t for the full amount, and I have yet to receive the last payment. I’ve been trying to collect my payment for the last two weeks, but I’ve been ignored, and I was told that his electronic transfers weren’t working. He finally told me he would send someone to give me cash. I waited for over an hour with no response from him before I left. There was no screening process when I was being hired either. I was never asked for proof or pictures of prior work.
He expects subcontractors to act as employees but seems to subcontract his work to avoid providing benefits. He also expects his subcontractors with trucks to deliver supplies to the workers that don’t drive or don’t have the right vehicle for the job. He buys cheap materials that break easily and need replacing but expects the work to go as quickly as using quality materials. Lastly, he has extremely poor customer service skills. I’ve seen him call homeowners names, gaslight them when he purchases the wrong materials, and threaten to fight homeowners when they call him out for his wrong doings.
In conclusion, I wish I would’ve read reviews before I started working for him. It’s also important to note that some of his recent 5-star reviews are from close friends or family members.

Comments: RUN AWAY! The owner of this company will not provide materials, provide cheap ones when he does (even though you are paying for way more), add prices to your quote without asking you and you’ve already agreed on pricing, and preform shoddy work. Last week we had to terminate our bathroom renovation early with this company and he refuses to provide resolutions for his shoddy work. I’ve had to have three different contractors in this week attempting to fix his mistakes. I paid for a $26,000 bathroom and have a shower that looks like it was done by DIYers. This man is a con artist.Canton OH

Comments: BUYER BEWARE!!! I had a major problem with this company but don't take my word for it. Go to Starkcjis.org (Stark county records) and look up the owner (SEAN FANCHER) of Hard working your men of 4553 SHRIVER RD. NORTH CANTON, OHIO 44720. I did and found 33 court filings including DRUG POSSISSION, CONTEMPT OF COURT, TAX LIENS, JUDGEMENTS, ETC. Then I looked up his Fly-By-Night company and found even more LAW SUITS. They do work in Akron and the Cleveland area so you might want to check there for even more LAW SUITS. You might want to google and yelp to check out his reviews and read what other people think of his work. This guy is very UNPROFESSIONAL and hasn't got a clue about home improvement. In fact, I don't even think he know which end of the hammer to use but if you need a good DELIVERY BOY he's your man.-
