Comments: This guy is a crook from the beginning he said I would get top-quality products top quality paint he told me his workers been with him all 30 years or more. I had other people come out who were charging half the price or less but he sounded so good with a smooth mouth on top quality everything guaranteed work best workers around I believe them like a sucker. He had a guy take video of my whole house and pictures and I paid his guy $3,600 and after he cashed my check he said he couldn't start the work for a week after telling me he would start that day and then he sent a guy that doesn't even paint for a living and never met him before. The guy said he found an ad on Craigslist but never seen this guy's face name Bruce Cohen. Bruce didn't even give them the correct supplies he was supposed to paint a ceiling and he didn't even have a ladder and he asked Bruce for a ladder right in front of me and Bruce told him to build one. It has been two months and he hasn't even finish painting 1 bathroom you can go on YouTube and see for yourself what he did in 2 months under Bruce Cohen paint job and Bruce Cohen paint job 2. He keeps telling me he's going to send someone out and nobody comes and then when someone does come which was maybe about 15 hours of work total he didn't even finish painting the bathroom or the downstairs and where he did paint looks terrible and he got paint all over everything I own there's paint on my ping pong table am I Super Bowl champagne bottle and football on my TV on my speakers on all my pictures all my DVDs and DVD case inside of a pair of my brand new sneakers all over the carpet on my brand new concrete that I just had done in my laundry room where he didn't even paint but the guy said he walked through my house carrying wet brushes so paint the whole way through my laundry room on the dryer and my brand new concrete. He either broke or got paint on everything. On top of that he has three different phone numbers 5 different addresses and I checked out for them already one is electronic store at 740 Red Lion Road another is 6606 tulip and I went there and the lady says other people have knocked on the door looking for him another is 922 Emerson which doesn't exist there is an apartment building there that ends at the corner and it's 920 Emerson and a few other addresses. He also has different company names PA HomeServices PA HomeServices USA PA contractors USA PA homeservices' waterproofing. And when I told him there was red dots on my floor he said I must be an Indian. Sometimes he answers my texts and he tells me don't worry someone's coming we're going to fix everything and I tell him I just want my money back and he says I'll make it up to you but he never does. at the beginning he said he would send down my cabinets take them outside paint them and reinstall them he said I would get a brand new oven brand new dishwasher whole house painted all downstairs painted three lights changed and rewired and the only thing you did was halfway paint a bathroom while getting paint on the toilet and sink. Paint most of the basement but a terrible job he said he was getting top quality paint and he didn't he got the cheapest paint he could he rips people off I'm finding complaints everywhere. On this website on the Better Business Bureau under multiple companies. he says his workers been with him for over 30 years but he puts ads on Craigslist and pays people by venmo but nobody stays with him because he rips people off. The guy he sent to take video the first day is the guy that collected the check and Bruce said he doesn't work for him anymore and doesn't know anything about the video. Bruce told me the first day he would send me models of different dishwashers and wall ovens and after a couple weeks he sent me a picture of a floor oven. This guy is a scam artist do not hire Bruce Cohen the best job he'll do is the worst job you'll ever see if he actually comes out he's been telling me for weeks to someone's coming out and nobody does. He said he would fix drywall and then after he gets paid he changes everything. he said if it's not on the contract he doesn't have to do it I should have never believed him but he has a silver tongue

Comments: I hired this company to do a stucco job on 10/14/20 and was promised the job will be done by the end of the next week. He said his prices were lower, 1st lie. Since I needed the job done ASAP for a few reason. I gave them half down and supposed to be a progress Payment half way and the balance once the job is done. Here we are in December and the job not done and he been blowing my email and phone up for a payment. His workers show up whenever they feel and lie and say they will be there at 8:30am and don’t come til close to 11am and at times after 12p. The contractor working next door told me this was a 2 day job. His worker are liars and and so is Bruce Cohen. To top it off he wrote a email threatening me if I don’t make a payment I will be sorry and it’s going to cost me more and had one of his works come to my house & left a note on my door. He can send people to get money, but his workers can’t show up or on time to work. I had to keep calling him to get this job done and he lied on numerous times. I told him he not getting another dime until half that work is done. The mess they did out there look like something could have done and I don’t no how to do stucco..

Comments: I called 7 contractors on a Sunday morning. It is now 3:05pm Monday and not one of them called be back. . . except for Bruce. He actually called me within a few hours (on a Sunday). We scheduled for 12:30/1pm on Monday. As promised Bruce called 1/2 hour before so that I could be home. Gene showed up promptly, did trouble shooting with me and informed me of exactly how he would fix the problems. He did fix the problems and also disconnected all of the power cords I had to put in place to keep things running. I highly recommend this company and will use them again!

Comments: Found this company on craigslist and left a message about roof repair/replace and got a call in less than 30 minutes. Mr Bruce Cohen called me personally and asked what i need done and had one of his guys to my house the next day for estimate and get an idea of what i needed done and got a quote before he left. As soon as weather was optimal ,his men came out and within two days when my new roof was up and looks perfect. the workers was punctional and very professional and making my roof back to perfect shape. I will using their services in the future when i need work done.

Comments: A dangerous DealBeware of BC Contractors! It cost me $150 to learn that lesson.
I cancelled the job with BC Contractor the day after I agreed to have them replace my water heater! There were too many false statements made by Bruce Cohen himself and
Bruce estimated the job at $550, plus I would buy the water heater, he would install it, he would place the old water heater at the curb, and he would have a salvage company pick it up.the estimate is a much higher estimate than other contractors charge for the same job.. I regret giving him a $150 deposit check which he insisted to be made out to him not his company . He told me to go to Home Depot where he arranged a discount on a water heater and have it delivered to my house for $30, a deal he had arranged with John at the Pro desk.
John told me that HD charges at least $80 to deliver curbside and also there was no discount on the water heater it was on the shelf for the same price he quoted and which he claimed was a discount. There were too many flags indicating a bad deal so...
I returned home, called him and cancelled our agreement. He became livid, screaming over the phone; my wife could hear him two rooms away. He now claimed he told me the day before that he was getting a truck and would pick up the water heater at HD when I paid for it. None of which was true.
I told him I had a right to cancel the deal and I wanted my deposit back.
He said he put a lot of time on this deal and refused to give me a refund; he later sent an email saying he would send “some cash” , which he never did.
he couldn’t send a check and requested my bank routing information so he could make a direct deposit. No way was I giving him any personal information. I have not received any cash back from him.

Work Description: Install kitchen exhaust fans and new upstairs outlet.
Comments: I’ve never in in my life had a contractor give an estimate over the phone and not even come out to the site himself. He sent someone to take picture for the estimate. My original job was to install a new kitchen exhaust fan. Then decided to have a dedicated outlet put in upstairs for an a/c in the summer.On the day the work was scheduled, the guy he sent showed up 2 hrs. late. Not even an apology. I called Bruce several times and he kept telling me about his guys personal problems. When he finally showed up, he had no idea of what he was supposed to do. Said he was there to fix a heater. I was not home at the time, but my wife said he then spent a half hour looking at the work order and making phone calls. Then he started checking downstairs outlets.
After several phone calls, Bruce decided to send another electrician. The second guy, Gene was excellent. He took care of the outlet in about 20 min. The fan was now on hold as it was getting late.
After contacting Bruce, he was at a loss for the fan. He was more worried about what the siding outside would be like after the fan as actually installing the fan itself. He wanted to take the old fan out and leave s home in the walk while he shopped around for a new fan. In other words, he was not prepared nor do I think he never installed a fan before.
I then decided to tell Bruce that I no longer needed his services and that the $200 deposit I gave him was more than enough to cover the outlet. The outlet was supposed to be a new heavy duty line put in, but the existing wiring was used to covert the 240 line to a 110 line. There is no way he could have run a new line in 20 minutes.
I then told him I had gotten someone else to do the fan, which I did, and that I would no longer need his services.
I am not interested in all the personal life drama of his workers. In fact I believe Bruce was more interested in future business than actually finishing the current project. I don’t think he actually does any work but just hire his people on s per job basis.
This is s very unorganized and unprofessional contractor. I would give no stars if I could.
