I am a Texas realtor and one of my listings needed the air duct of the kitchen vent hood replaced with metal since the general contractor used aluminum. I called over 10 HVAC and vent hood companies and no one could do the work. Within 10 minutes after sending the request via HomeAdvisor, Jamal had contacted me via text initially and followed up with a phone call.Jamal listened to my request patiently, asked the right questions, and requested additional documents to investigate this issue further. Appointment scheduled the following afternoon. He carefully evaluated onsite, explained the steps he would take without throwing technical terms during the conversation, and provided me the reasonable quote. He asked for the cost of the material before starting the project the next day. However, I prepaid him fully since his online review has been exceptional (and I normally do not prepay in full ). He provided me with a receipt for the prepayment immediately.The work was completed quicker than I expected the day after and the result was excellent. Jamal made sure that the completion of his work would comply with the current residential building code. He even went above and beyond by speaking to the buyers agent on the phone in details of what he had done. My client was also amazed with the perfection of this project he had accomplished.I greatly appreciate Jamal for fixing this issue in such a short period of time. This transaction would not close successfully and on schedule without his expertise. I will definitely refer him to all my clients, colleagues, friends, and family.
