Comments: I hired Village Home Maintenance to complete a bathroom remodeling project and I needed it some ASAP because I have terminal cancer. Steve came over the same day I called him, we signed a contract that day and the job was completed within the week. I didn’t even get a return phone call within that time frame from the other contractors I had contacted.His workers are amazingly good, fast and clean.

Comments: Village Home Maintenance built us a new 3 car garage with new concrete slab and driveway. Steve helped us get the easement from the city and all permits and gave us a great price. I can’t say enough about the workers of this company, they are really good.Everybody showed up when they said they would, were extremely friendly and cleaned up every day.
We love our garage and would definitely use Steve for any future projects.

Comments: Steve and his guys put a new roof on my Mom’s house, new gutters, they tuckpointed and reflagged the chimney, built a new entry railing and replaced/stabilized the rear wall of the house which was bowing out due to rotten framing.They were done with all the work within a week, financed part of the job at zero interest so my Mom could afford it and were very nice and professional.
It looks like a new house. Steve even took the front shutters off and painted them for my Mom for free.
I highly recommend Village Home Maintenance

Comments: I couldn’t get anyone to show up at my house to give me a quote to repour my driveway, sidewalk and garage slab or put new decks in my backyard so I went on the internet and found Village Home Maintenance.They came out the same day I called, gave me a quote the next day which was very fair and were completed with all of the work in a week.
I was extremely impressed with their promptness, communication and quality.
These decks were Trex decks and not easy to install. His carpenters are phenomenal workers and everything was cleaned up when they were done.
Great overall job. Highly recommended.

Comments: I hired Village Home Maintenance to fix many different items in a brand new $800,000 house that my builder, who I am now suing, refused to do.These guys said they were general contractors so I hired them to fix all the tile work in the bathrooms that was installed incorrectly and was already cracking in places, they pulled half the wood flooring in the main living space that had started to buckle because it wasn’t warmed up before being installed and they also repainted many rooms because of the rushed subpar paint job that was previously done.
I was happy with the quality of their work and was very pleased that they could accommodate my time frame.
I’m hiring them to remodel my home in Naples this winter and would highly recommend them.

Comments: I used Village Home Maintenance to put a new roof and gutters on my house in Davenport. Steve was a pleasant guy and was fair on his bid so I used them and they really did a great job, especially with the cleanup.They had 7 roofers on a Saturday and finished the roof in one day then his gutter person put all of the aluminum gutters up on Monday.
I recommend these guys and would definitely use them again.

Comments: Steve and his organization took a home that I have owned since 1970 and have rented for the last 16 yrs and completely rehabbed it both inside and out. They put a new roof, siding, screens, shutters and gutters on the exterior of the house and they also installed new exterior doors, including a garage door, screen doors and security doors. The yard was dug up and reseeded and landscaped and the house and garage were painted.The interior was totally gutted with 2 new bathrooms, a new kitchen, new drywall, new wood floors, all new doors, window treatments, closets, carpet and paint. They also installed new electrical service and a new drop ceiling in my basement.
The job took 60 days start to finish and now I have a new renter and have been able to raise the rent $500/mo.
Steve was always in communication with me and even did a few trades at his cost because I was running out of money.
I am extremely happy with their work and would recommend their services.

Comments: I hired Village Home Maintenance to stain the exterior of my home and replace rotten and warped siding. They gave me an extremely fair bid so I was initially skeptical that they could do what they bid on for the money they were charging but they fulfilled the contract in every way and Steve actually got me to change the color of the house after 45 yrs and I love it.These guys are good! I'd use them for future projects.

Comments: A majority of the work looks great. However some things didn't get finished as promised and after many weeks of "we'll take care of it, don't worry, it's going to look great", the final few things have yet to be done. Steve says he will be there and doesn't come or communicate well with owner throughout the process. Paid a lot of money for a complete project and disappointed that is still isn't done. If your in a hurry to get a 100% completion, this may not be the right company. If you want it to look great, make a lot of calls to have him come back to finish, you found your company. Comments: We hired Village Home Maintenance to build a new rear addition and replace the roof on our home in Davenport.This was a $150,000 job and so we did our homework.
These guys were highly recommended by a family member so we checked their references and eventually hired them.
The work was done extraordinarily quickly and everything was done exactly according to our plans which delighted us.
Steve and his foreman helped us pick our finishes which was a huge help since my wife and I both work long hours.
We were very pleased with the finished work and wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again.

Comments: Village Home Maintenance remodeled the kitchen and bathroom in a home we had just purchased. We hired them based on several recommendations and although we had to wait a month to get the project started we were glad we selected them.Steve and his foreman Chris were very helpful in helping us choose cabinets, flooring and tile and were never late for any appointments that we had scheduled which is more than I can say for the other people we called.
We started on the date they gave us and finished within a day or two of when they told us they would be completed.
For what we spent we feel we received really nice quality finishes and the work is literally flawless.
Needless to say we were very pleased and will use these guys again when we're ready to finish our basement.

Comments: Village Home Maintenance tore down our existing garage and slab and poured us a new slab and built a larger 30' x30' garage in its place.I hired them because they said they had built 50 plus garages in the area and it turned out to be a good decision.
Steve's guys were extremely knowledgeable , especially his concrete person, and they followed our plan to completion...on time and on budget.
If you're building a garage you should give these guys a shot, they were fast and the price was fair.

This was a $500,000 insurance job and took 7 weeks to complete and through it all we never had a single issue with Steve or the contractors he used for the work which I thought was pretty remarkable!

Work Description: We hired Steve and his team for a basement project at our Davenport offices which required drywall replacement, mold remediation, painting and carpentry as well as installing new shelving for our filing system. These guys were so nice as so incredibly fast I couldn't believe it! Everything was done in a week and they were extremely clean which was important to us because this is a place of business... We have since hired them to restore the rusting rails and stain our exterior entry decks and they literally look brand new.
I've never written a review before but I thought their efforts deserved it.

Comments: Village Home Maintenance built us a new Trex deck and replaced the crumbling sidewalk in our backyard.I've worked with a lot of contractors in my life but these guys were by far the fastest and the cleanest I've seen and really cared about the quality of the work.
It only took 7 days from the time I signed the contract until all work was completed and they were the low bidder as well.
Steve is the most professional contractor I think I've ever worked with. He kept his word on everything he promised and was always on time.
I'd use these folks again.

Comments: Steve and his crew removed our old roof and gutters and at his suggestion we also replaced a bunch of rotten wood siding and repainted the exterior. The house looks absolutely stunning and we have received nothing but compliments.Steve saw this project through from beginning to end and gave us daily updates on the progress which we greatly appreciated.
We actually spent less than we had budgeted for the roof and gutters and he upgraded the shingle at no cost to us.
In short we were extremely pleased with Steve and his amazing crew and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

Comments: The bathroom tile is a horrible job. Tiles were cut too short , so the grout lines are uneven. unable to manage the time and money. quoted prices then raised prices.
