Comments: Granted we were on a shortened deadline ( a week). Val’s painting was able to fit me in which I appreciate. I have a two bedroom two bath condo where I had already completed painting both baths. I discussed on walk through what prep work I wanted and the painting job scope. I was to supply paint since I was already using a specific brand. The paint was available upon start of job. We also discussed that I would be having floors and baseboards done soon after the paint job. I was not informed they would be spray painting. After first day of the paint job, I had to vacate my home to stay in a hotel because of think paint dust in unit and the painter’s leaving unit not cleaned up each day. There was paint dumped on floors, prep work discussed was not completed and they painted over door knobs making difficult to remove them. Hooks were left in walls that I had asked be removed. After painters thought they were done, I did have them come back and they did reinstall the closet rods that were left and they did paint the closet they had forgotten to paint. The painting was sloppy at best. Wall color dripped onto freshly painted trim and doors and shelves in places. Basically when I hire painters I expect them to do a better job than I do. They are the professionals.

Comments: I have used Vals brush multiple times. I am always pleased with results. Chris is a perfectionist and so helpful if I have a challenge. For example on my last project the deck came out much to warm because I wanted to use some stain I had on hand instead of purchasing new. Chris came and looked at it and figured out the solution! So happy now! Should have just bought the stain from his supplier -I think Sherwin Williams, would have been simpler. Thank you Chris for taking the time to fix my mistake.-
