Work Description: March 5th, the receipt states he installed the circulating pump and calibrated sensor to fire the boiler. In addition, states he bled the line from the small stem at a cost of $525.00. On Wed. March 21 called back and installed a second pump. Bled the line and when done, I noted water on the floor that I thought was spilled during the bleeding process. Therefore, I did not question. He charged on that day $215.00 for a total of $ 740.00. Sunday, March 25, my daughter questioned the odor of mildew on the lower level. When I checked the boiler room water was leaking from the boiler- small valve. When I called Colins, the repair person and explained the problem, he became irate telling me that the boiler needed to be bled to change the small valve and that was too much work. He stated that I could put a cover on the port where it was leaking. I queried his response knowing that this problem was a result of his bleeding the system. After paying $740 within a two week period of time, I would have thought he would have returned to correct the leak that destroyed my carpet. Instead, he slammed down the phone. I would never recommend this company/contractor to anyone. Totally, unprofessional.
