Work Description: Uneven concrete and porch railing
Comments: My wife's 87 yo uncle has been moving a little slower lately and we realized that he had no railing on his porch down two stairs to his driveway. We also were thinking that we would inquire about where the garage concrete pad meets the driveway and intersects with the walkway as they were at three different levels by as much as 4". This is how we met Kini from Two Guys Construction. We received three bids that were all within $400 of each other. Two of the companies went by and took a look then emailed their bids. Kini insisted that we meet to look at the project together. The other companies were going to cut the concrete back about 18" and slope new concrete to eliminate the 4" height difference. What Kini suggested was to cut back about 10', install re bar and pour the new concrete to create a smoother and gentler rise. He would make the three levels of concrete all match then install a rod iron railing from the house to the bottom step of the porch. All I can say about Two Guys Construction and Kini is they did it right and did a fantastic job. Then after he was done he came back twice to repaint the entire porch. That was not part of the bid and he did not ask for any extra money,,,,he said he just wanted to do it right! I would highly recommend Kini and Two Guys Construction as they do excellent work in a very timely manner. We will again be using his company for a project at our house this coming spring. Comments: Kini was honest and fair. He did quality work and he really tried to please us. We even had a friend ask for his name because she was so impressed with our walkway.-
