Work Description: Roof Repair - Asphalt Shingle
Comments: At first “Nick” from Professional Roofing Company seemed nice and helpful. They scheduled a date and time to come from Wilmington to put a tarp on my roof for a leak. As far as I’m aware they may or may not have ever actually come. He kept hinting to me to download an app “Venmo”that his secretary sent “Bre Hanson” to pay them. He said they came but didn’t have the right size tarp and that his guys had to go to Home Depot when I asked where the tarp was after he called acting as though the job had been done. He then sent a txt stating I needed to pay half the money now ($620 total for a small tarp!) and half due when they were done. At these time I told him I wouldn’t pay anything until the job was completed. He started getting upset And said his guys would have to come by the following day because now they had to go back to the warehouse and he couldn’t have his guys on the roof while it was getting dark. Mind you, this operation started at 11am from Wilmington to Jacksonville. At this point I told him I’d be finding another company becasue they had wasted my day and my insurance also advised that I not put a tarp on until they got here. At this point I received another call where “Nick” attempted to degrade me and my family and was swearing and very hostile. In turn, I ended up again telling him we were not in need of his services and not to contact or come by our house. I was not able to find their company on Google and also the address they gave on their statement was a fake address in Wilmington that does not exist! The closest thing to the address comes up as Monkey Self Storage. BE-WARE of this company!
