Work Description: installed new air handler for heat pumpComments: In February 2020, Summer Breeze installed a new air handler and ducting for our Heat Pump. The heating worked fine. However, as the weather turned warm, we attempted to use the cooling feature and it would not come on. The technician did not properly wire the Heat Pump so it would also cool, in addition to heating. THIS IS POOR QUALITY WORK AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY.
Work Description: furnace repairComments: This company is terrible. They were sent out by our home warranty company to repair our furnace. One tech came out and couldn't figure out the problem. On the 2nd visit another tech shows up and works on it for a while and then says he will have to talk to someone else at the company who might know more and he left. We didn't hear anything for over a week so upon calling them we were told that rodent damage to the wiring was the problem and that our warranty didn't cover the repair and that they had a picture of the damage as proof. We requested the picture from both Summer Breeze and the warranty company and were given the runaround for seven weeks. We finally paid another company to fix the furnace and it only needed a new heat kit, no wire damage anywhere in the system. Then today i received the "picture" from Summer Breeze and it's an image from a website named platinumcctv in an article titled" Replace Your Worn Out Security Camera Cables" from 2016. So they lied about the reason for my furnace not working, lied about having a picture of the damage, sent a false image that they got off of the internet and caused the warranty company to deny our claim for over seven weeks now for no reason. If you are forced to use them by your warranty company, i suggest that you take lots of pictures before, during and after the visit just so they don't try this on you too.
Work Description: Ac repairComments: RUN AWAY!!!!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! OVER 90 DEGREES AND IT TOOK THEM A WEEK JUST TO SUBMIT FORM TO WARRANTY CO. DAY OF SCHEDULED REPAIR...NO CALL FROM THEM THAT THEIR TECH "CALLED IN SICK". JUST NO SHOW TILL WE CALLED. DAY OF SERVICE: THEY STAIN OUR NEW CARPET, BANG UP 10+ PLACES ON NEWLY PAINTED WALLS, AND USE OUR DRIVEWAY AS PERSONAL TRASH DUMP FOR JOB TRASH, PERSONAL TRASH, LIKE HALF EATEN BREAKFAST BURRITO, AND CIGARETTE BUTTS. I ECHO OTHER REVIEWS THAT THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES. HOW ARE THEY STILL IN BUSINESS?
Work Description: HVACComments: Flee! Flee for your lives! Run while you can..I've warned you. 2 weeks for a board replacement - in the middle of winter without heat with a 4 year old, 1 year old, and I'm 8 months pregnant...It was a terrible, atrocious experience. Atrocious!!! I saw a photo advertising 24/hr service calls. Bull****. As a customer with an open claim I couldn't contact them before 8am or after 5pm and even then it was nearly impossible as they don't answer phones, ever. They automatically schedule appointments without consulting you or asking for appropriate time frames. Be prepared to be at THEIR beck and call...be warned they will not show up on time (if at all) and randomly reschedule you. We are now two weeks waiting for a repair and they continue to disregard our personal life and well-being.
We submitted a claim with our warranty company on Sunday, February 10th - we understand time frames and we didn't expect same day service. On Monday February 11th an appointment was scheduled for Tuesday February 12th - sure. On February 12th the problem was diagnosed as a faulty control board and the universal boards were not working so a factory board was ordered, apparently. Four days later on February 16th, a Saturday, I was contacted that the board had been ordered and would arrive on February 20th - 8 days later after diagnosis. I was informed 4 days after diagnosis the board had finally shipped - seriously? I would have been happy to pay an expediting fee to resolve this quickly, but they never made contact with me to discuss my options. There is zero sense of urgency with this company. So, repair date is 10 days after request, 8 days after diagnosis. Tech arrived on Wednesday February 20th with the wrong board. We were assured they would return on Thursday February 21st, the next day, with the correct board - LIES. After zero communication the following day I contacted the warranty company at which point we were re-scheduled for repair with the proper board on Friday Feb. 22nd between 9am and 1pm. At 1:45pm I was contacted by the tech that they could not arrive at my home until 7-8pm...6+ hours beyond the scheduled appointment. As we had plans this evening he offered the repair late that evening or the next morning. At 8:30 am the next morning I called the technician , of course he didn't answer. An hour later he told me he was with his mom at the hospital. I proceeded to call the office DURING business hours. They did not answer. So, I drove 45 minutes to the office and found the office manager and a tech sitting around. They apologized and organized a plan to fix our heat - finally. The office manager called the tech - who had replaced a heat pump that morning rather than replacing our control board. Anyone else remember him telling me he was with his mom in the hospital? After 14 days waiting for heat in the middle of winter it was finally fixed. My children are no longer freezing.
Jeff, the technician that finally fixed our issue that day, appeared to be a stand up guy. We appreciate him. Regardless, this was a terrible experience.

Work Description: replace HVAC unitComments: Absolutely horrible experience. Five years ago they replaced a unit in our attic, and failed to connect the return vent. It was just recently discovered by another HVAC company, who we called when noticed the air conditioning was running constantly, yet failed to cool anything down. The technician that discovered the problem was appalled. When I approached Summer Breeze with the report and picture of what was found, their idea of rectifying the approximately $4000 or more in energy losses over the last five years... a check for $500. They have left me with no other alternative but to file a lawsuit. DO NOT use them for anything.
