Comments: These guys were the worst electricians i have ever come across. At first, they don't show up on the time promised. Even when i accommodated the change of timings since they were done earlier, they started saying that they need to leave quickly since they had another appointment. Well, speak about professionalism. As far as the exhaust fans, after fixing the exhaust fans, they did not seal it properly and the insulation material was coming out through the fans. I had to seal them myself. When i brought it to the attention of the guy, he just callously says "I only deal with electrical wires". What a yarn!! The senior guy did not even have the courtesy to clean up the mess after the installation. Just two words " STAY AWAY" from these guys. They are not worth your time and money.Scottsdale AZ

Comments: Jesus tested all of my outlets and found several that needed to be replaced. He stayed and did the work on half of them, since I had the outlets for those. Although there were still gaps around the faceplates, I later filled the gaps myself with clear silicone, I will still have him come back to finish the remaining outlets. He was helpful, courteous, and easy to talk to. I only gave 4 stars on price, since I don't have anything to compare the price to. but, he was flexible on breaking apart the job to be affordable for me.Peoria AZ

Comments: The ceiling lights were fine, but very sloppy and questionable work on exhaust fans. They really tore up my sheetrock unnecessarily in the process. Didn't cover furniture leaving insulation all over the place. One fan isn't working and he says it's defective, not his problem. He drilled an unnecessary hole in the exterior of my house and then stuck the five inch circle of wood back in the hole and said it was a mistake and that he wasn't perfect. Didn't repair it at all. Comments: Worst customer service possible. Didn’t care in the least that I had issues with them. Made up all sorts of excuses for failures. Messed up my pool main power box, disconnected my pool light and damaged my existing GFI that was for it. My pool light switch was left unattached in the power box. Told me it was a pre existing condition , totally untrue, basically calling me a liar. Had a professional electrician come in the next day to fix there inept work, they were here for an hour, fixed everything including my supposed pre existing conditioned pool light. WOW. This electrician said the installation was a mess. These guys didn’t care and will make any excuse for there shoddy work, just watch. Lastly they cut into my drip line system in two places and didn’t say a thing , a good conscientious contractor would have check to see if they did. Didn't care. Have my landscaper coming to fix it as well. Never use this company. You’ll be sorry.Mesa AZ

Work Description: 240V 60A Garage Outlet
Comments: Do not utilize the services of Solid State Electric LLC. I had a 240v 60amp outlet installed in my garage to charge my electric vehicle. I charged my vehicle overnight and woke up the next morning to find my garage smelling of a fishy/sulfuric smell. I called Solid State out to see what was wrong. They charged me $70 for this visit only to tell me that nothing was wrong with the panel and that the issue resided with my car charger. I took the car and the charger to the Tesla service center and they ran diagnostics and determined nothing was wrong with the panel or car. I had an independent electrician come out and inspect the breaker. It took him 10 seconds to find the breaker that was installed by Solid State had exploded, damaging 2 other breakers in my panel. Now I am out $355 and on top of that I need a whole new breaker panel (~$5000) to be installed if I want to charge my car from home (as the slot that housed this breaker is now permanently damaged). Stay away from Solid State, my family could have died from a potential fire because we charged the car overnight.Avondale AZ

That electrician came to my house for an entirely unrelated reason. I was told the cost to replace would be $5000+ . Jesus told me he would be happy to replace it for $3000, but it did not need to be replaced at all since it was in good working condition.Bloomington IN

Comments: Do not hire.... ever! They do a bait and switch. Shon came over and was personable. He assured me that he couldl do the job and quoted me a price. This was an emergency job that needed next day service. He quoted an hourly rate plus materials. The job was basically just adding outlets and hanging a fan. That evening a received an inovice for nearly $800 from the company demandingthat I pay half of it up front before the work was even started. No other contractor I have hired for small jobs has ever requested 1/2 up front plus increased an onsite quote by almost 300. This is not a trustworthy business and they are engaging in shoddy business practices and ripping off people that are in a vulnerable position. Please save yourself the headache of being ripped off and use someone else.-
