Work Description: Shower tile install
Comments: S & D Painting & Remodeling is by no means a legitimate business. The GREATEST mistake I made was giving him an advance. ‘David’ had me to meet him a Home Depot where I purchase all the material he informed me that I needed (had me to purchase six (6) boards of sheetrock which was your regular wall sheetrock and not the type required for a shower install). I purchased a ‘Tile Cutter’ at this time as well, which David told me he would assemble at his home and return it to me when he ‘come back’ to start the job; needless to say I have not seen him since. He ripped my shower out, ran into a little issue and he told me that he was going to Lumber Liquidators / Home Depot to purchase the required hose / fixtures required to reposition my plumbing into the wall before he could begin the job – he NEVER returned. I have reached out to him several times even informed him that the fact that I advanced him for a job he did NOT DO and the fact that he still have my tile cutter that he did not return to me is THEFT BY DECEPTION. David then told me to take him to court because he's encountered this before an won. Which is an indicator that he is deceitful in his practice. RUN DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS INDIVIDUAL!!!!!!!!!

Work Description: Popcorn removal & Painting
Comments: David was very nice but unfortunately did not do a great job at painting and popcorn ceiling removal. He left quite a few spots of popcorn ceiling, areas that had not been sanded, and then left the job early due to illness. When I went to check how much of the painting he was able to get done before leaving, it looked as though he had gotten the ceiling paint on the walls and the wall paint on the ceiling. Very sloppy.I was on a tight deadline and had to scramble to find a replacement. I would not recommend until he slows down and takes his time to make the job look good. He’s fast but I did not find him to be detail-oriented.

Work Description: Interior Painting 3+ rooms
Comments: Painter started well, but continually got worse. On last "working" day he tried to leave with a room that obviously needed another coat. When we discussed it needed another coat, he then quickly applied a second layer, covering the white crown molding with a dark blue color. My wife and I are currently repainting the last two rooms he completed. Would not recommend.
