Work Description: When the work was finally gotten to it was done well by a senior tech. I was told it would be a four hour job by a junior tech but it took one hour.Comments: I would not recommend this company if you are looking for reliability or timeliness. I am selling my house and had already moved out. I explained that I had to drive from Gettysburg in order to meet the plumber at the house and was told I’d be the first call of the day. I was told to be there by 8am. Got a call at 8:38 saying he would be an hour late. Three hours later I had to call to find out where he was and was promised he was en route. Had to make two more calls throughout the day and finally had someone show up at 3pm. No one thought to call me or communicate in any way and when the guy showed up he explained that the original plumber just didn’t feel like driving to Pottstown and declined the job at 8:15 am after committing to the job last week and knowing how far I drove to meet him. Unethical, dishonest and disappointing.

Work Description: Installed toilet flapper and tub/shower waste & overflowComments: Saw that Scott Fick Plumbing had many good reviews on HomeAdvisor so I thought they would be safe to go with, but because of my recent multiple negative experiences with them, I would say stay away from them unless you do not mind bad customer service. As far as the work they do, I am sure they did a good job, but I think customer service is just as important. So here is my experience with 2 service calls from them (2 different plumbing issues happened around the same time at the same house).
1. They showed up 30 minutes late for the first appointment, plus the plumber was curt.
2. For the second appointment they showed up around 2 1/2 hours late. It was scheduled for first thing in the morning (8am). At around 8:10am my tenant texted me and said the plumber has not arrived yet, so I had to call Scott Fick Plumbing to see what was going on. They told me that there has been an emergency and that it will now be 9:30am until they can come out. They had never informed me that someone else's emergency can automatically reschedule your appointment, plus I was not told about the emergency until I called them to figure out why the plumber was not there yet. Feeling frustrated, I asked to be notified in-case it would be later than 9:30am. I gave the secretary my phone number and she said she would contact me if the plumbers could not get there by 9:30am. At around 10:00am AGAIN the tenant says the plumber has not arrived yet. So AGAIN I call in to see what is going on. The plumber ended up arriving at around 10:30am. They completely forgot to notify me about the 2nd change in my appointment, making all of this a stressful experience.
3. After the job was finally completed, Scott Fick Plumbing had no problem contacting me multiple times for payment, so it was easy to see where their focus was. I asked for an adjustment in the bill because of my negative experience. Earlier they had waived 2 different service call fees because the tenant did not respond to the door; they said they did this for me as a courtesy which was nice of them. But when I asked for a discount because of the negative experiences that happened later, they told me they had already gave me a discount and did not do anything to make up for the bad customer service.
This has been my worst experience as a customer.

Work Description: We had a whole new air conditioner unit installed. Within a week of calling the company they were there to get the job done. We were very extremely satisfied from the punctual return phone call, the service project manager Steve and with the ladies in the office. Thank you Scott Fick and company for a job well done!Comments: I would recommend this company to all my friends and family.
