Comments: I had a bad experience with Sacred Builders. I met the on July 24th to discuss replacing my garage roof. They said that could put metal roof over my existing shingles which would save money and they had a 6-8 delay at most before they could start with the understanding they would be working on the garage roof after that. They wanted a 36% deposit up front, $3200 against an estimated total of $8900. On July 25th, I signed the contract and sent them the $3200 deposit.On October 12th, 11 and half weeks after I signed the contract, I demanded my deposit back. They then informed me that there was no start date on the contract and that there was nothing legally I could do to them. I feel like they were disingenuous with their contract and their delays, never did any work, and kept my deposit
