Comments: If you meet Randy you first think he is a good guy, but he is a con artist. He takes your money, $8000 of mine and left me with a discolored, uneven, stained patio. Took him to Small Claims and won, but he put his money into his girlfriend's bank account where it can not be taken.
Put his name up online and you will find he was picked up for two DUI's and drug charges. He is a crook, dishonest and should never be allowed to do any work for trusting people. I like so many others worked hard for and saved so I could have a nice patio. It is a mess. Trying to get it fixed, but may have to start over.
Never hire him, please. I regret the day I ever called him to do my patio. You will too.

Work Description: Take down & install a large fence for $9,900

Comments: Buffalo Fence Pro & Randy Gleave & his workers from Ryan Michaels & Associates, their LLC are scam artists. They were hired by me to take down & install & new fence. The entire fence is uneven & the wood is damaged & rotten in many areas. The fence has nails sticking out all over & there are broken pieces of wood as well. The fence is not sturdy at all & in some places not even connected with nails. They never finished the job or came back after months of attempting to have it fixed. They drove equipment all over my grass & left huge divots in my lawn- I can't even mow in some areas. Randy refused to come look at the project himself & after multiple attempts to obtain n the paperwork/contract, he kept saying he would email it to me but never did. Do not hire this company!

Comments: He came to my house, met with my husband, quoted us. Took our deposit and never returned to do the job. If I wasn't on a 12 hour shift I would been here to research him and knew not to give him my HARD EARNED money. Guy is a scam artist. I've been more than patient enough waiting on getting my deposit back that was given weeks ago. He ignored my request on venmo and is a disgusting person. Don't know how he sleeps at night. Lots of alcohol, I would presume.

Comments: Hired this "company" to install a 6 foot fence. Provided them with the survey of our property and instructions to place the fence at least 6 inches into our land. Paid them in 3 equal checks, the third being handed to them on the final day they worked here. Took them 3 weeks to complete the job. (Leaving cigarette butts and garbage all over the yard - this speaks more to their lack of professionalism and not the current problem) Then a month and half later our neighbor had a survey of her property done and we discovered that the fence is 5 feet into her land. Contacted Randy to let him know his guys messed up and we need the fence moved onto our property. He told us he was waiting on a call back from the town building inspector. We spoke to the inspector and Randy had never called him. Now our calls and texts go unanswered. The inspector was able to contact Randy and Randy said that he was not going to do any work unless he got paid. As far as the work is concerned, he did get paid. We paid him to do a job and do it correctly. Them not being able to read a survey is something they should have admitted to before accepting the job.

As this needs to be completed within the next 3 weeks, he can either come out here and fix the fence or we will be going to court to recoup the cost of having someone else do it.

Comments: 5/13/2021 - Met with Randy at my house and gave a 50% deposit to remove our fence and replace it in a different spot. Talked to him about a quote on redoing our concrete driveway. He gave a quote immediately that I thought was fair. I examined my finances and decided to wait on the driveway. I decided then that I would just have them do the fence. I heard nothing from Randy. I always had to initiate contact. 6/16/21 Texted "Hi Randy. I've decided to wait on the driveway. When can you get the fence done?" no response 6/23/21 Texted. got "k ty" 6/27/21 Texted. got "got it" 7/1/21 Texted. Randy called and proceeded to tell me that he didn't appreciate me "blowing smoke up his ass about the driveway" and kept saying that "he's not trying to be a dick.". Then he told me he would have to use an existing piece of my fence to do the job because he didn't have the materials right now. I told him no and he said that I didn't have enough money in the job to replace the piece he wanted to reuse. Desired Settlement: Refund

Comments: Failed to lay base. Failed to install wire mesh reinforcing. Failed to properly grade resulting in inadequate drainage. Borders, vary in width by 50% when expected to be uniform. Finish is simply awful. After 4 months, 20% remains undone. Front and back yards littered with feet of construction debris. Contracting with others rip out all work and start anew. Nothing is salvageable. Just a totally miserable experience.

Comments: Wind storm from a couple weeks ago completely knocked my fence over. Randy called me back within minutes and that same day came to look at the damage. He explained everything to me, was very transparent about the price. Gave his personal cell number which made for easy contact as well as email.

Work was completed within 2-weeks which is great considering the winter is coming. Work looks fantastic and I would highly recommend. Workers were very polite, cleaned up, and took their time to complete.

Project completion: 11/20/20

Scope of Work:
Excavate soil ~ 10’ x 18’ area and pour 4” reinforced concrete pad.
Remove an existing 9’ x 11’ concrete slab and pour new.
Connect the 2 new slabs with smaller concrete slab.
Excavate trench, add drain tile. Make provision to tie into existing downspouts (2).
Stone and backfill trench.
Remove ~ 96 sq.ft. of old garden area. Area leveled to grade.
All surrounding area affected by construction was covered with topsoil and grass seed applied.

General Impressions:
Randy (company principal) was very responsive when we first called about having this project done.
He provided his personal cell number for any inquires that we had.
The crews that worked on the project were 1st rate. I didn’t get all their names but a few come to mind.
The original plan was to hand dig the entire slab area but because of the amount of tree roots, they needed to employ a mini skid steer. This tore up the lawn pretty good but as mentioned, everything was covered in topsoil and grass seed applied.
Dave and the digging crew did the excavation. They also had a young lady that helped with the old concrete slab removal. That looked like some tough work but they were up for the task. Jimmy was one of the finishers and he did a fantastic job. The concrete came out beautiful.
I’d also like to mention that the crew did a very nice job cleaning up every day. To me, this is a big deal.

As a professional in a technical field, I am very particular and detail oriented. Randy and his crews were very responsive to my request for changes and did an outstanding job. I would definitely recommend them and would have no problem using their services on future projects.

Comments: GW Landscaping/ contracting replaced a part of my driveway in 10/2020. They were professional, punctual and produced a very fine product. Their crew were excellent in manners and even more so in their performance. The drive looks awesome! Many neighbors loved their work and asked to use them in the future. Done as one of the last jobs of the year due to weather, but they deliver exactly what they promised. Don't let other reviews stop you from calling and using them for your next project. VERY WELL DONE and the price was very reasonable.

Comments: I hired randy to replace driveway,told him driveway was holding a lot of water and I needed it replaced .he explained that he could do it and solve the problem I was having ,I trusted him he does talk a good game,i paid him in 3 installments (9800.00).work looked good until the driveway dried and I walked around it and saw the driveway had 2 cracks all the way across ,plus one area was very lumpy,i let randy know and he stated that adam would be out tomorrow to address the issue ,that night it poured down rain and when it did stop I walked outside and I started to( CRY) .THE DRIVEWAY WAS FILLED WITH WATER EVERYWHERE,that morning I called randy and told him about the water he said adam would be there at 10am.N o one ever came and randy refused to answer my calls from that day .I have not heard from him yet .PLEASE DO NOT HIRED HIM TO DO A DRIVEWAY FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.IGIVE HIM 0 STARS .

Work Description: Driveway repair: Remove and replace 3 blocks cracked concrete and seal entire driveway.

Comments: Randy contacted me right away after I phoned and arranged to meet the following day. He was running very late and called to reschedule for later in the day. When he arrived, he told me what needed to be done and gave me a fair price. He did require 50% down which was not a problem. The demolition work was scheduled for the next day, a Thursday. I told him that I needed to be able to drive over the driveway the following Monday to take my 89 year old mother to a doctors appointment as she had limited mobility and would be unable to walk to the street for the car. Randy assured me they would return the next day to pour the concrete. He would use an accelerator to facilitate drying such that I could drive over it that Monday. The concrete was poured and smoothed and the area protected with caution tape. I had no issues that Monday. The following Thursday, Randy called to give me a heads up they would be by on Friday to seal the driveway. They did a really thorough job with the sealer, such that a passerby hired them to do his driveway! Through the entire process, Randy communicated what was going on, timetables, etc. I will likely use him in the future for other projects as he and his crew are well-versed. I highly recommend him!
