Work Description: Large home reno and pool
Comments: RUN don’t walk. Nightmare experience, David L , owner, will no longer be able to operate under any license because the CSLB/licensing board has determined to prohibit it. We, and 4 other families, already went against his bond and collected, not nearly enough for how much he took from us. This man dug a hole for us for a pool, telling us that we got the permit, we did not get a permit, and our yard was left with a gaping hole for a year at least. He also was supposed to be our general contractor and was a complete and utter disaster on that front. In the end, we had to hire a new contractor who filled the gaping hole with $11,000 worth of dirt, in place of where we envisioned our dream pool because we could no longer afford it after how much money we had to put in to new contractors to correct all of his mistakes and finish the job. My family and I are still so upset over this mistake we made in hiring him. also, he was not reachable most of the time with a full voicemail. When he did communicate with us, it was nasty, empty threats. He actually told me that this is not his first rodeo, and he can drag this out foreverthis is your warning, don’t do it, scammer. Again, he will no longer have any license soon. Also note that he never had a license. He is working under other peoples licenses. He will be losing that option very soon.
