07/19/2022 - DO NOT HIRE JULIO CESAR RINCON aka RINCONS CUSTOM CABINETRY!!! We hired JC to build custom cabinets for our new home. Even though I did a walk through with him, clarified, wrote it down, and printed out pictures of what I wanted, there were still many mistakes. He asked for $8k to begin the job and he did not buy $8k in materials but we wrote a check (and he was able to take his vacation). We ended paying him at least $4k a week and, after 5 weeks, we still do not have completed cabinets or cabinet doors, and trim is incomplete. He asked for more money and we refused until we saw the doors on our property so he quit!!! He was not forthcoming with outsourcing the doors and hired the contractors BEFORE he even discussed it with us! We saw the date on the invoice today. I will leave reviews on every platform I can to WARN anyone and everyone of his shady business practices. He now has $20,500 of our money and we have to hire someone else to finish the job. SHADY, LIAR AND CROOK!!!! Look for me on Houzz. I will leave another review there and will be able to answer any questions.

Comments: I had a hard time getting t to start the job .had to correct some of the trim . After all they got it done .at a fair price just in time. I don't like the way they left a lot of pulled trim nails in the driveway. Probably would not use them again in a time sensitive project

Work Description: He replaced a door that we had in our garage, did a little painting, and some concrete work in our driveway.

Comments: Julio did very satisfactory work and he is a very pleasant individual. He seemed like an all around nice guy to me.
