Comments: Rob's business model: lie until you take a deposit. Perform 40-50% of said project, then chase someone else's deposit while stalling on your job. With Rob's business ethics, you can expect creative lies, expect threatening voicemails, expect your property to get damaged, and most importantly, you can expect Rob to treat you like a sucker. Work Description: Bathroom tile installation
Comments: December 2018If you see this review, you should NEVER, NEVER, EVER hire Rob Walker of any of his various LLCs (tile king, drywall king, floor king).
In July 2018, we hired Rob to finish up the tile installation on a new bathroom. I had completed the carpentry and plumbing, and Rob had two people do the shower tile install.
1) The laborers were never on time. We had to constantly rearrange our own schedules to compensate.
2) Their work was C+ at best and the door threshold was sloped poorly to the outside of the shower. I spent a LOT of time cleaning up their poor grout mess.
3) They used a lot of extra material for mis-cuts and made a big mess out of our garage and shrubbery with the tile saw.
BUT....the biggest mistake was then having him quote on the shower door and a vanity top. I (stupidly) paid him in advance and he walked off with my money with no materials and no labor. I had to reverse two credit card charges myself (no help from his end). Even worse, a check was never reimbursed and I ended up taking him to small claims court. Only to get a judgement to find he had closed his bank account.
So, get three quotes from reputable contractors and NEVER pay more than a small deposit on each phase of a job.

Work Description: Kitchen and bathroom remodel
Comments: My husband and I have been waiting for a job that was supposed to be finished in 2+ to 3 weeks, baths and kitchens being worked on at the same time to get done faster. It is now going on 10 weeks. The proprietor, Robert Walker rarely returns my calls or texts and the contractor he hired to do the work(Ron Edwards) has hardly showed up for the last 4 weeks with much still left to do. We were promised a 9-5 work day but this has never happened in the last 10 weeks and now Ron Edwards may not show up at all even when he says he plans to be on the job. It is very stressful because neither of them seem to care that we are in the middle of arelocation and need to get this work done like yesterday. It has been a nightmare working with this company and I wouldn't want anyone else to be in our situation. We also had water damage because of faulty plumbing work with no response from this company.-
