Comments: Phillip Henry Aguilar is a con man and currently being pursued on charges of Federal Grand Larceny. He came to our home in September 2022 to quote us on a kitchen remodel. We gave him $37,000 and never saw him again. After getting police and lawyers involved, it quickly became clear he has done the same thing to numerous people across the country. We are now part of a class action lawsuit against him. He is not someone to be trusted, definitely steer clear.UPDATE 1/14/24

Work Description: Kitchen Remodel
Comments: Dishonest and/or incompetent. It has been a complete and utter nightmare dealing with this contractor. We provided this company the exact drawings on what we wanted done to our kitchen and we agreed to a price. Immediately after going through financing for $37,000 with them, they tried to raise the price of the work in excess of $15,000. They kept stating that we changed the designs, yet we changed absolutely nothing. They also incorrectly measured our kitchen cabinets and stated because of that, we were going to exceed our budget. Not to mention, they promised they could have the work done by Christmas 2022 but within a week, that changed to February.Furthermore, with the professional investigations we have done, we have discovered that he has done this with multiple parties, going from state to state and ripping off people. This is his Modus Operandi.
Ultimately, we decided to part ways with them prior to any work getting done and no materials ordered. Essentially, we started getting a bad feeling about this guy and we were right. And guess what, he still hasn’t refunded us and now we are being forced to pursue a criminal and civil lawsuit against them.
Update: Here we are in June 2023 and he reached out to us within the last few weeks stating he wanted to complete the job. I tried to give him a chance, believing that people want to do the right thing. We asked him what had changed since then and why he could complete it now with the funds we provided. We asked him to provide a simple budget and he was unable to do so. He just started his shenanigans all over again, so we are going to continue our criminal and civil lawsuit.
Do yourself a favor, AVOID this contractor.

Comments: My experience with Prime Time Home Builders 21 LLC and Phillip Henry Aguilar is something that anyone considering hiring the company and this man should know. I gave ‘Henry’ 50% down for a kitchen and bath remodel, which was a lot. After doing the ‘demo’ and destroying my kitchen, he decided that he needed an additional $10k to place a beam where a wall that he removed was. Henry should have gotten a permit and an engineers stamp for this major remodel and wall removal, but refused to do so. Once the kitchen was destroyed/demo, he demanded an additional 35% (for a total of 85% of the total cost up front) with only a demo/destroyed kitchen to show for it; and some shower tiles installed. I also gave Henry a check for the full amount of my kitchen cabinets, as he demanded. I should have gone to the cabinet company and paid for them myself, but I trusted Henry, but mistake. He cashed the large check for the total of the cabinets that I ordered, and only paid for half of the cabinets; claiming he was going to keep the remainder; claiming I ‘owed’ him that money. Please, do not consider hiring this man and certainly don’t give him any of your hard earned money. Luckily, I hired a lawyer to represent me in this matter, and the lawyer discovered that the company Prime Time Home Builders 21 LLC was started by a shell company out of Wyoming, with absolutely no ties here in Arizona.Phoenix AZ

Comments: The project got started off with a little bit of a rough start. But this was due to material and labor shortages. Phillip worked hard to correct as soon as possible. Once things gotten straightened out, the fence went up in less than a week. It looks great!Phillip always responded quickly to any texts or calls I made. He constantly was willing to work to overcome unanticipated issues.
The key is communications, insure all parties have a clear understanding of work to be done prior to the start of the project.
I would use Prime Time 21 and Phillip again.

Prime Time 21 stripped the house to it's bones and build it back with updates to the floorplan and all new furnishes to make it a much more desirable property.
