Comments: Upon moving in my new house, my water heater quit working within 24 hours. Being the middle of winter, all the plumbers I called were too busy to add me to the list. However, Plumb Doctor was able to shake someone loose to swing by and take a look. Turns out it one of the wires burned out. They were able to quickly diagnose the problem and get it fixed. Comments: Our first call was when we suddenly had trouble and could not get our toilets to flush so I called several companies trying to get someone to come out, but the two biggest companies both said they couldn't guarantee when they might have someone available because it was Sunday night. John called after I put in a request online and said he could definitely come and also told me the price on the phone, which neither of the other two companies would do. He found that our main drain line was collapsed after trying for over an hour to get through. He gave me an estimate for repair and I got another estimate from one of the larger companies, but their scope of work was much less, so I recontacted John to ask for a comparable estimate. He did 3 times the work for less cash and this job was not easy because my sewer line was not where it was supposed to be and the gas line was off from where it was marked by 811.org. We checked with a friend who knew someone who was retired who could do the work, but he told me he could not beat the Plumb Doctor's estimate, so we hired John and he came on the weekend and did the job even though it required extra time because of the trouble with finding the line and then we found our pipe was larger than standard so he had to contact a supply place and get them to open for an emergency so he could finish on Sunday. He and his coworker both worked very hard and I am very grateful to once again have working plumbing in my house. I highly recommend him and will to anyone and everyone who has plumbing needs.
