Work Description: Water heater/deck
Comments: Preston Clark is dishonest and a thief. He is now in Texas trying to present himself as a contractor but he nothing of the sort. I hired him to replace a water heater which he claimed he knew how to do and had experience. What a joke! He burned the wiring and the real plumbers said he did not know what he was doing. Having additional plumbers come out cost me more money. The actual plumbers have given their testimony which I will be using in court to sue to Preston. He was also schedule to paint my deck. But after his ridiculous job on the water heater, I told him I would not use his services anymore. He was to refund me $325 for the deposit I paid on the deck. He owes me over $1100 plus I will suing for the money I had to pay certified plumbers. I will also be reporting him to the local sheriff as neither of his businesses are registered and I believe is is running this scam in multiple people. BEWARE.Montgomery TX

Comments: Wanted down payment to begin job. Did start the job but never on time and some days didn't show up.Was supposed to be a four day job but this is the third week.Few days ago I told him the work was not satisfactory and to refund money. March 2,2023 he said he would take vinyl up and lay it correct. I haven't seen him since. He hired somebody to help him for 2 days and hasn't paid him or returned his tools. Nothing good to report for him. He is in Texas now using this same company name?Athens GA

Comments: Had no idea what he was doing or didn't care, when I said please return the money I paid you this is not working out. He said I didn't want him in my home because he was black. Do not hire this guy for any remodeling work. He may could haul some junk off, but I wouldn't trust him to do that even. I have pictures of his work I wish I could post. It is a joke.Lawrenceville GA

Work Description: Caulking. Sealing. Replace door lock. Desk assembly. Removal of rotten wood.
Comments: If I could give him minus zero stars I would.As agreed upon, Mr. Preston Clark Sr. Did not complete the work. He agreed to install an awning, remove rotten wood and seal cracks, seal and caulk the shower area, repair and replace front door lock, assembly desk, and pressure wash the front and back of house and driveway for $435.
on the first 1st day, Preston was 2 hours and 10 minutes late. I had to call him to inquire about his location. On this day, 7/26/22, He did 5% of the work (2% sealing a small area in the shower and 3% removing the back door rotten wood). He also tried to install the lock but stated he purchased the wrong lock from Lowes in Norcross, GA. He stated that he would need to take my handles in order to purchase the correct lock. On this day, I gave him $200 in cash because he stated that he will be back on the following day at 4pm SHARP.
On the 2nd day, 7/27/22, he was late again. He never called or texted to advise that he would be late. When I called him to ask for an explanation about his tardiness, he become combative. I left work early to meet him at my property so he can complete the work as we agreed upon, once again, he has no respect for the customer’s time. After he came late I advised him to give me back my money but he stated that he didn’t have any cash on him. On this day, he stated that he will take the desk home to assemble it and send me pictures throughout the process which he never did. He also told me that he ordered the “hard to find door lock” from Amazon and it will be here on Saturday. On this day, I stated to him that we will no longer need him for the pressure wash or awning Installation. He then stated that he will be at my residence on Tuesday, 8/2/22 to complete the job that we agreed upon. He also wrote on my stationary stating that he will call me on Tuesday at 1230pm to advise that he is on his way.
On 8/2/22, Preston was a no show and didn’t call or text to advise. I called him and he stated that we didn’t have an appointment. I told him that this wasn’t working out and he became combative again and hung up the phone on me. I texted him to return my items and if he didn’t I would have to file a theft of stolen property. He said he would return my items and $200 on Thursday 8/4/22 at 730am and I told him to make it 7am. I also texted to meet him on Wednesday to pick up my items but he stated on Thursday I will get my items. Once again, Preston Clark Sr. Was a no show and I didn’t receive a call or text. This man has taken my desk, my door handles, and my $200.
He also stated that he was on the BBB. His business was not listed.
