Work Description: Replace Broken Cables on Garage Door
Comments: Shocked to find out after paying by card that they added a 10% convenience fee for credit cards. Typical is 3-5% so when the technician said there is a credit card fee I never imagined it would be 10%, that is gouging the customer. A Visa card over the phone is at most 4% to the merchant.It is a rental so we paid by card over the phone and invoice was left with the renter.
Arrived on time and did the work as needed.

Comments: I have had three different garage companies make repairs in the last 20 years. This was by far the worst experience. They were fast and came right away. They didn't even look to see if it could be repaired or if there was a disconnection somewhere but went straight into trying to sell replacements. They don't include any costs in their quotes so the "price" goes up for labor, if you want them to take away the trash they left behind!?!, and they keep nagging you to upgrade other aspects that aren't broken. It works and they were fast but I will never use them again. Poorly managed company. Two other people showed up to fix my garage door from the same company half an hour after the first one left.Saint Paul MN
