Comments: Ocean State did a great job of repairing my plumbing. They unpluged my kit sink, bath sink and shower, replacing the iron pipe in the basement. They also replaced the outside piping because of it being clogged. I would hire them again and recommend them.

Comments: This company is like no other I have ever seen. The owner personally took my call at 430am in the morning .
I woke up and began to get ready for work when I noticed I had no hot water .
I went to my basement to see what was going on .
I found about 5 inches of water on my basement floor .
I tried calling about 15 companies with no response.
I went to Ocean State Mechanical site .
I tapped the call button and I was in shock when someone answered . 45 min later the owner of the company was at my house.
I was a nervous wreck had to go to work .
This company gave me what I considered a great price and told me to go to work they would handle it.
Well when I returned home that evening at 6pm there were no trucks no one at my house
I walked in and went to the sink and amazing I had hot water.
I walked into my basement and they had air movers and dehumidifiers running and my basement was cleaned perfectly and dry I don't know how they did but this company is no joke when it comes to needing them they show up and they show up hard-core the owner Ed I consider to be one of the smartest guy I ever met if I could give them 10 stars they would have them words can't express the way I feel about them

Comments: My boiler needed to be replaced and this company responded right away and came to my home the same day. Their work was absolutely 💯 % amazing. My son came by who is an electrician and said the workmanship was impeccable. I would 1000% highly recommend this company. I will definitely call them again for any future work I need done. It was a pleasure working with them.THEY WERE THE BEST.

Comments: Eddy and his partner were exceptional. They went above and beyond my expectations. He was able to find old warrants, saved me so much money, noticed dangerous hazards and repaired them properly.
When called, he was able to come right away, very flexible with his time and worked around my schedule. I will definitely use this company again.

Comments: These guys are Great!!!
The owner Eddy called me personally 1130pm at night and responded to my emergency with in a hour at this time at night.
I was having a extreme emergency with waste/seweage pouring out of my mop sink in the basement due to my main drainage line being clogged solid with roots..
As I watched everything in my basement (finished basement living space) be ruined.
This company responded in my time of need (priceless) and helped me in way I can't begin to tell you.
They new exactly what the problem was. The owner explained to me every detail of what was happening and what was gonna need to happen to repair the situation.
The company then respond that morning with heavy equipment and workers around 9am and they were done gone cleaned up and make it look like it never happen as well helped clean up the entire basement at a fraction of the cost of the surve pro company who provides the same service for insurance companies.
This company is one of the best around there very extremely personable, and will talk to u as a friend in need that was big.

I appreciate you guys more then you will ever know thanks so much.

Work Description: Replace furnace and central air conditioner

Comments: We were quoted/invoiced for a high efficiency, energy saving furnace and central air conditioner along with a generous rebate from National Grid for which Eddie said we were pre-approved.

1. After we had made payment in full, they never returned to finish the job.
2. The actual equipment installed was different than what was stated on the invoice.
3. We made many attempts to contact Eddie via phone, text and email and he did not respond.
4. The outside air conditioning unit was never connected.
5. A second contractor found the furnace installation had numerous code violations
6. There were no National Grid rebates associated with the installed equipment.
7. We were left to hire another contractor to finish the job.
we did end up going to Mr . Benson home and repaired his mini split system. he was extremely happy and never updated the review.. The failure had nothing to do with any repairs we had made but there was a differant issue at which we repaired for him free of charge . last time we spoke the unit is still running great over a yearly later .

Comments: I had to replace my electric panel becauSe water had entered it at the weather head. These guys came out the same day to assess the problem and the very next day replace everything from the weather head to the fuse box. They even assisted me in filing a homeowners insurance claim.

Comments: Underestimated projects, didn't take permits, took all money, left work half way done. You can't get them to finish. This is a business to avoid at all cost

I took this company over in 2001 and it's under new management and we have no record or knowledge of this customer . sorry your having a hard time with your contractor but we weren't involved in any of these dealing u may or may not have had sorry

Comments: At first the electrician installed outside lights with no issues. After that we contracted for him to install a generator. He took my money and never installed the generator.Also took an old generator and sold it, never giving me the money he owed me. Worst company ever. Very dishonest.

Comments: Ocean State Service repaired my mini-split system on 5/7/2019. The cost of the repair was 1,106.20. As I left for vacation the next day, I never tested the system. When I returned on 5/17 I found the system did not work. Since then I have called Ocean State Service 12 times. I talked to Shawna once, on 5/22, and she said Eddie would be there that evening or the next. He never showed up and nobody has returned my call since. Seems like it is time to lawyer up.

Comments: Regarding for seven moons restaurants.
We called the office for hvac contract. They said yes on the phone but never do it .
we had to cancel this customer contract and return his money. After doing a walk through and inspection of all equipment , we decided that the condition of the equipment and the way they choose to run there kitchen we didn't want to be a part of due to a vast amount of safety reason and equipment safety procedures. the kitchen wasn't to restaurant clean kitchen standards act and we decided that we weren't a good fit for this company . we advised a smaller company may be a better fit to do handy man repairs . sometimes customers can't be made happy . or some customer feel hurt or mad due to refusing to provide a service to them. they turnaround and attempt to hurt the company by making false claims . this customer was up set cause we didn't want to be involved with what ever food safety regulations they were dealing with and it just wasn't a good fit. a service tech had shown up every time a call for service was made . we have just decided not to hold a service contract on the refrigeration equipment. that doesn't make us a unreliable company or a bad one . we just sometimes avoided different situations as I do not wish to bad mouth this restaurant in any way but sometimes a unhealthy kitchen makes it extremely hard to provide service for.

Comments: I have 2 years HAVC service contract with this company ,I paid for it and never got the contract paperwork since 2017. They never come to service. What should I do in this cases ? I'm still wait for service contract and they never respond for it.
This customer had 2 bad reviews purely out of being mad and upset we had chose not to continue our working relationship with. there were many violations with all the equipment located in the restaurant and we had provided multiple inspection reports on temperatures of cools etc. every bit was ignored. we decided not to continue the working relationship and further . at which the restaurant Manger became upset and told us he would ruin our name if we didn't come out to service his equipment some times even after trying many times some customers will never be happy even after many attempts of attempting to resolve someone's issue they still try to give bad reviews in hopes it would ruin the company.

Comments: I spoke to the owner of the company over the phone who seemed nice and gave me a very reasonable price estimate for the work to be done. However, since that call I had 4 appointments for the electrician to come to my house to write a quote and all 4 were cancelled for various reasons. Very disappointing! As nice and reasonably priced as they seemed, it is worthless if they never show up to do the job.
