Comments: BEWARE! When a contractor runs off of multiple aliases and the wife is involved you are dealing with ROBBERS!Any positive review must have either gotten the contracting companies wrong or RAY KING aka RAY LINK aka RUSSELL ELVIS LINK JR. aka RAYMOND KING used the money he STOLE from military VETERANS to buy positive reviews.
Do not fall into his money trap of LIES and false business he is listed on Angie’s List, Builders List and this site I am sure he is on others as well BUT with the various changing of his name and company name one will never know where the worm is working.

Comments: RUN!! This company is running a SCAM!I hired them to do a foundation repair and gave them $5,000 for a deposit, but they never showed up to do the job. I wanted a refund and got mislead by being told they would mail the check. No check was mailed so I ended up having to send certified letters to their last known addresses, only to find out they were fake or no longer existed.
A few names they are running their businesses under are, Elite Renovators, Down Home Renovators, Elite Mowing, Next Level General Contractors, and Level Up Foundation Repair.
Allegedly, JR's real name is Raymond Link and he last resided in Williamson County. Allegedly, Raymond Link has a criminal case against him for aggravated sexual assault. His wife, Danielle Link, is believed to be an accomplice. As a matter of fact, I sent $500 via cash app as part of the deposit, and she would not refund it back to me either.
Hope this information can help anyone who needs it.

Comments: DO NOT under any circumstances give Raymond Link your money. Ray Link aka Russell King aka Raymond Elvis Link, Jr. and his wife Danielle are scam artists and thieves. They talked a big game, took a 50% deposit up front, showed up for demo, and then disappeared with our money. They repeatedly lied about work being done and materials being ordered (neither were occurring as confirmed by security footage). Our six-week project dragged on 3 months with minimal activity before we finally realized we had been scammed. Our 60k deposit was stolen, and they have not issued any refund despite agreeing to do so per our contract terms. We have repeatedly tried to resolve our issues with them in good faith, only to be gaslit, lied to, deceived, and insulted. He gave us multiple fake addresses, fake names, fake excuses of hospitalizations. Lies, deception, theft. That is what you will get with Ray King and his accomplice Danielle. Google his aliases and you will see he has been running this scam for at least a decade under multiple company names.

Comments: I’m not sure who is writing glowing reviews for Next Level General Contractors but Ray and Danielle are scam artists (also known as Level Up Foundation Repair). We contracted with them to build our new deck and after 6 months it is only partially completed. They no longer responds to texts or phone calls. We have retained an attorney and will file a claim against them and I’m told at least 3 other current customers are also filing claims.Round Rock TX

Comments: I hired Next Level General Contractors to remodel our home and add a new deck to our upper level. they have some of the best people on their team that will help you with design when you are not exactly sure what direction you want to go. I heard a lot of people tell me how stressful remodeling can be, but they made it easy and always had great communication. if you are looking to hire them, I would recommend them for your job because they did excellent job on my home.Round Rock TX
Work Description: Deck Demolition and rebuild
Comments: Ray and Danielle from Next Level General Contractors ATX (they also do business under “Level Up Foundation Repair” per multiple websites- beware) were hired by us to do a backyard deck demolition and rebuild in late April 2022 and our experience has been horrible. After providing an $7,400/50% deposit, problems and delays started. After a missed start date, they hired a single sub-contractor to start with the demolition which took him 2 weeks to complete with no additional crew to help which should have taken 2 days if he had the help that was promised. That sub-contractor recommended some additional work that was not part of the original scope and we agreed to the amount of $2,500 (A total of $9,900 given to Next Level). The sub-contractor eventually quit because of not getting the support he needed from Next Level. Now, we are only left with part of the original deck framing left standing and with no floor (house is elevated from rest of yard so we need the deck floor and stairs to access the yard) with the original top boarding that was removed as part of the demolition in a heap in the backyard which was never removed. While we attempted to be very patient while Ray and Danielle dealt with their personal issues that kept creating delays in getting work done, we kept getting broken promises from them saying we were in the schedule and that they would send a crew, with the materials needed for the job, and work would start. All we ever asked from Ray and Danielle is be proactive and honest in their communications with us and to keep to the schedules they developed as best they can. That rarely ever happened with us having to consistently chase them down for updates as the delays continued with multiple excuses and the materials needed to rebuild the floor and other elements of the deck never showing up at the job site. The final straw was when Ray promised he would have a crew and materials at our house, while we were out of town for a trip in early June, so by the time we got back the deck would be mostly done. When we returned 6 days later, NO ONE HAD SHOWED UP, NO MATERIALS DELIVERED, and NOTHING WAS DONE. So, in mid-June, due to regular delays and broken promises, we eventually had to fire Next Level via a termination clause in the contract. Now we are having to pursue to get back our $7,350 that they owe us. We agreed to pay the sub-contractor, back in late June, for his demolition labor and for some pieces of lumber purchased for the deck frame out of the $9,900 given to Next Level (We have it in writing an agreement from Next Level to the amount they owe to us). Meanwhile, Ray kept making promises to pay even asking for our Venmo account as to send payment (all of this is documented). Still nothing! You can’t even go by any office address they list online to discuss a repayment plan as the two addresses are both UPS Stores! They don’t answer their phones and have stopped replying to texts from us, as of early August, asking for an update as to when we will get our money back. We even tried to engage them via an arbitration service, per the contract, to get this settled and they have not responded to those requests at the time of the writing of this review. We are now in the process of taking them to court to get our $7,350 back.Based on our experience with Ray and Danielle at Next Level General Contractors ATX, we would not/will not recommend them for any work!Liberty Hill TX

Comments: I usually do not give reviews on companies but the experience I had with Next Level general contractors just had to be commented on. My whole life changed when I recently became handicapped and now I walk with a cane. Next Level general contractors came to my house and helped with renovations to expand my front porch & my bathroom to be able to enter easily with my walker. They were immediately so understanding and reassuring about my difficulties with such small places that I instantly knew I picked the right company for this job. They compassion for customer satisfaction is beyond belief. I highly recommend Next Level General Contactors for any and all types of jobs you need done!Round Rock TX
Work Description: Kitchen remodel
Comments: I truly cannot brag on them enough. Danielle was an absolute pleasure to talk to you anytime I had a question or needed someone to give me a call she was on top of it. Ray will come out and give you a rough estimate and kind of get your ideas and then he takes them back to the interior designer who also calls and text! I asked her to please come over because I have this weird wall and I wanted a coffee bar so bad so she turned it into the most amazing coffee bar! They had to build custom cabinets for that spot and they are beautiful. Cody the construction guy, was very pleasant to talk to! He explained everything and made sure that we understood. Then you sign a contract and they start the work. Each and everyone of their employees was very polite, showed manners and the utmost respect for our home! They just did an exceptional job I am so happy I went with them for my new kitchen!Fischer TX
