Work Description: Boiler Installation
Comments: Mr. Comfort replaced a boiler in our church building. They were sent to do the work after I was told that the company that was to originally install the boiler (Living Comfort HVAC) was going out of business. This was the first lie of many. Living Comfort HVAC never went out of business but the owner of Living Comfort HVAC was the father of the owner of Mr. Comfort. Mr. Comfort's owner knows absolutely NOTHING about boilers. He found some people to install the boiler and even they knew very little about boilers. There was no gas shut-off valve installed on the boiler, the circuit board was fried due to being wired incorrectly by the installers from Mr. Comfort, and they install an incorrect circulating pump, which doesn't pump water throughout the 2-story building. The circulating pump they removed from the old boiler worked fine and could have been used on the newly installed boiler, but they took it with them and left an inadequate circulating pump. Before the boiler was complete, the owner of Mr. Comfort tried to get more money from me when he sent me a list of piping that was needed to get water to the boiler. This piping was already included in the price of the boiler installation, but he expected me to pay additionally for these items. When talking to the owner about these problems, he said that none of the people who installed the boiler works for Mr. Comfort any longer and I need to contact the manufacturer of the boiler. All of the people that worked for Mr. Comfort had quit. I've talked to other companies who are aware of this father/son scam and they even know the reason people have quit working there. I implore you to save your money and pass this company by.Miamisburg OH
