Description: A native of the Midwest, Melanie Wiliams developed her passion for horticulture in the family vegetable garden. She has worked at Mission Hills Nursery in San Diego, CA as head of bedding plant material and displays. She was subsequently hired as design assistant to John Alexander, founder of 'Yards and Gardens' a landscape design firm based in La Jolla, CA and has also worked at 'The Cutting Garden' in Sequim, WA as head gardener for its botanical collection.
