Making us pay him 50% up front and they go completely ghost on you for months and months. Excuses after excuses. They REFUSE to install my windows they’ve just taken my money. Comments: MBR took a 50% deposit, promising delivery and installation of windows in less than a month, that's how MBR tricks customers into putting their money down. However, they failed to keep customers informed about the order status and never showed up for installation, offering endless excuses. The owners, Ransom and Maggie Kulasa, are known for their crazy lies and excuses.To our shock, we discovered they never even placed the order with the manufacturer. They even forged our signature on their contract and terms and conditions.
Many now caution against MBR due to similar experiences. Despite paying 50%, customers receive little to no communication from the owner and ultimately no windows, doors, or services. MBR continues to claim they have the windows, shifting blame to customers for not coordinating installation or lacking funds to pay the remaining 50%. Who pays thousands for windows and then faces such baseless claims?
Moreover, MBR falsely claims accreditation with the Better Business Bureau on their website, which is misleading as they are not rated by the BBB.
As a consumer, it's baffling to see MBR investing heavily in social media advertising and Google AdWords while tarnishing their reputation by swindling people. Businesses thrive on trust and integrity, not deceit and deception.

I ordered windows from this company almost 6 months ago, they told me it would take 2 weeks to install maybe a few days more and still have not received my windows. Every time I call Ransom the owner says he’s swamped and can’t get out until the next week. Then he just started ignoring my calls and texts and then it was always an order issue when he finally responded. Why am I not on the schedule if I ordered 6 months ago? He refuses to refund me and refuses to bring my Windows. They are extremely rude as if I’m bothering them by wanting them to hold up their side of the agreement. I have proof of every call, every text and every email. How can you run a business like that and constantly cheat your customers? I know I’m not the only one.Columbus OH

Comments: We purchased a French door from MBR on 10/23/23 for $4036.50 invoice # 81359. They were supposed to Demo existing patio door. Install new french patio door. Insulate and caulk new for superior seal. Trim out interior of new door. Clean up all trash around work site. they told us that we would have door installed within two weeks. We called and email several times. First they said the manufacturer sent the wrong door. Door was supposed to be a Provia door. They said they was going to send there installer to manufacture to pick up correct door. They finally showed up on 12/19 with the wrong door. The installer said he picked the door up from Lowe’s not from Provia. I captured the whole conversation with our ring camera. Are door we ordered was at a much higher quality than a Lowe’s door. The door they brought had a huge dent in bottom of door. It was for a 2x4 wall and we have 2x6 stud walls. I contacted owner from MBR and he said again that the manufacturer made another mistake and that he would reorder the door and that we would have to wait for 3 months before we would get our door. I told Ransom (owner) that I wanted my deposit back and cancel are order. That I didn’t want to wait for another 3 months and be in the same situation.He has been telling me each week that his accountant has mailed out a check. We still have not received our deposit back and they have now blocked our phone number from there phone system. Buyer beware….We want to be made whole and want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. We have filed a complaint with BBB and submitted a complaint to attorney general office as well. complaint reference number is: WT000210671. I have owned my own company since 2011 and know first hand what true customer service is and from my experience with MBR they are far from it. See owners response to my post.
