Work Description: HVAC tune up

Comments: I strongly suggest not using Maximum Comfort Specialist LLC.
The tech was taking a shortcut on his job and lying about it later. The customer service
was rude. Our home warranty company sent out Maximum Comfort Specialist LLC to
our rental house to do a HVAC tune up in April 2021 and on May 17, 2022. In both service calls the technician did NOT even go inside of the house to service the inside unit according to the tenant living there. Now the AC stopped working. We had to request another ticket for the AC.
I called the MCP customer service and asked to talk with
the technician who did the May 2022 job. I just wanted to ask him if he serviced the
inside unit when he did the AC tune-up. I was told that Mario, the technician who did the
jobs, would call me back in the late afternoon. After waiting for more than two days, I
still did not hear anything from Mario. I called them again. The customer service lady
asked me to hold for a while, and then told me that Mario said he went into the house
and serviced the inside unit. I then asked her “where is the inside unit?” After a brief
hold on the phone, I was told “he forgot....it’s probably in the attic”.
I then called Landmark Home Warranty to complain. When the Landmark representative
talked to MCP, she was told that the technician, Mario,
said he serviced the inside unit. It was a lie. Is he an invisible man? Is it possible that he
came into the house twice in the past two years without being seen by the people who
live there?
The Landmark sent a different company to fix the AC today. The technician George found the
blower motor dead and around the blower housing and inside of the air handler is covered
with mold. He recommended an annual tune up. When I told him that the AC was tuned
up every spring, he said "then the inside unit was not serviced in the past two or more
years for sure.

We had to pay $300 from our packet to clean up the mold in the unit today, since the Home Warranty would not cover this cost.

Comments: My parents A/C went out at my baby shower. I called them and the owner himself came out immediately and fixed the problem! He was very professional and got the air blowing cold quick! It was at least 100+ degrees out and the guests, my parents, and myself were extremely pleased! I would 10/10 recommend every single time someone asks for a A/C company!
