Comments: I wish this was up when I had contracted Tim to do my work. I agree with everyone on here he is a professional CON artist and Con'd me our of 10k. He started off with one price and slowly but surely started increasing the price. He left my house a complete disaster and destroyed our floors and countertops. Said he ran out of money and never returned to complete the job and said he underbid the job and if I wanted to complete the job Id have to pay him more. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TIMOTHY MANCHESTER.Murrieta CA

Work Description: Wood to tile floor replacement
Comments: Man I should have done my research. This guy is a first class con man. Quoted us one price and tried to charge us another. He demanded half the money upfront and when we told him he is only able to collect 10% per the contractors license board, he walked off the job and filed a lien on our home. It took 6 month to get the lien off and 8 additional weeks to get another person to finish the job. He’s needs to watch it, someone not as nice as me will show up to his house over this kind of stuff. Stay away !!Aliso Viejo CA

Work Description: Installation of 1000 sq. ft. of Porcelain tile flooring
Comments: We hired Tim Manchester to remove our engineered hardwood floor, and replace it with wood-look porcelain tile. He pressed us to put down money for the demo, materials, and partial labor. He sent a guy to work for a few partial days, and then abandoned the job without even completing the demo. He left our house a mess, with piles of shredded wood stacked against the walls. And he refused to return our material deposit of over $4500. Tim has been the worst experience that we have ever had with a contractor. My recommendation is to skip Manchester Tile & Stone, and find someone who is actually licensed to lay tile in California.Aliso Viejo CA

Work Description: Remove engineered hardwood, and replace with wood-look porcelain tile
Comments: Tim should not be in business. He underbid our wood floor demo, and then abandoned the job after just a few days of partial work. Pressed us to pay for materials up front, and now refuses to return our deposit (over $4000). Left our home a complete mess, covered in dust, with huge piles of old wood flooring stacked against our walls. Do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere for a tile installer who is actually licensed!Perris CA
