Work Description: Electrical Panel Box, re-wiring, of several outlets, installation of new porch lights and motion sensor lights.
Comments: What I've described in my work description box wasn't half the work Vern did. He always came at the prescribed times, did a professional job every time, cleaned up after each job and listened to my concerns. And listening about a house that, I'll admit, has been neglected over the years sold me on his being concern about my house just as much as I was. House built in 1970 and has never had any electrical upgrades, well I didn't expect miracles; and I knew he would be challenged, but he did an amazing job! He never complained about the conditions,(and they were dirty) or the weather, (lets face it this was a rainy summer) or the time involved. Let's face it, his prices were extremely fair, his overall demeanor about life itself pleasant, and he's the best electrical trouble shooter I've every had work on one of my houses. He fond and completely fixed ALL of our problems. And believe me there were a lot. Thank you Vern!!Chateaugay NY

Comments: Was quoted $1500 and 2-3 days of work. I knew that quote was not realistic so I kept an open mind about potential extra costs. $3600 and almost 4 months later the project is not even 60% done. I would dis aiutare a to e hiring him for big projects. He may good with small things but definitely nothing major. In the past three weeks he has shown up for a day and a half and did more damage to finished work, I also am doing remodeling, the. Work he performed. Always in a rush to go to other sites and leaves you hanging. Now I have to take him to court and to file with the consumer division of attorney general. Very disappointed, a lot of overpromissing and underdelivering. Would not recommend for a big project.

Comments: While I am grateful that an associate came to help fix my electrical problem, my landlord confirmed that the job that was done for an outrageous price. I was also left to clean up the aftermath of the work that was done (cleaning up and disposing of the drywall and insulation that had to be removed for the job). Again, while I am grateful that someone was able to come on short notice and fix my issue, I won't be returning/contacting again.
