Work Description: Two concrete patios with brick edging, two steps with brick edging, one concrete walkway, one brick firepit.
Comments: The edges where the concrete meets the brick are very poorly finished. The majority of these edges are rough, pitted, with holes, and irregular angles, as opposed to the smooth, curved, running edge that one would normally expect from a professional concrete contractor. Several of the control joints are wavy and/or crooked, including the one that is right out the back door. There are places along the concrete walkway where the stakes were left in for too long, and the edges of the walkway have the same pitting, lack of curved edge, and lumps. The walkway edge that meets the driveway at the front of the house is lumpy and wavy, with the new concrete overlapping the old in some areas. Pita Loloma, owner of Look Sharp Concrete, was careless with my plants, smashing many of them at ground level. He said, "Oh, they will grow back." He washed the concrete spots off of my house, but left a mess of concrete rubble and gray areas where he cleaned his equipment, as well as dozens of large oil stains on my existing concrete driveway from his truck. He as offered to return to acid wash the brick, which is coated in many areas with concrete residue, and to caulk the many blemishes if I pay for the caulk.
