Comments: It’s unfortunate that I have to leave a 2 star review. I was looking to trim about 8-10 trees on my property, but 1 tree in particular that was in bad shape. I had a contractor scheduled but they couldn’t commit to the work for 4-6 weeks. The next day Sharod was in the neighborhood knocking door to door. I thought this was pretty enterprising and I wanted the work done long before 4-6 weeks with the other contractor. The Kilby team was able to start the work that afternoon. So we signed a contract for trimming and treatment. Some of the trees were trimmed over the next 2 days.However, the team never returned to finish the trimming and none of the trees were treated, despite the contract. I’ve followed up and have not heard back in the last 2 weeks.
Again, unfortunate, because I thought this small business was pretty enterprising and they started the work when I needed it. But they never came back to finish and have not heard from them since.

Comments: Aaron & his brothers were supposed to come back and remove the stumps. I called Aaron to remind him & he said they would come 4/17 or 4/18. I have called back at least 3 times and texted multiple times without any reply.UPDATE
Sharod and his brothers did trees pruning and scrubs removed. In my opinion, this Tree Service is very unprofessional. The pruning of my trees was incomplete. There’s still dead wood that wasn’t removed. They removed 2 yews and a locust tree. The stumps still haven’t been removed. AND the price for removing them keeps GOING UP. Aaron, a brother, did not return calls nor messages. I felt they always wanted to do something else, a new roof, instead of completing the job. I strongly suggest to stay away from Kilby‘s tree service.

Work Description: Incomplete tree removal
Comments: Kilby Tree Service removed a tree from my property back in November, and have not returned to complete the job even though I have a signed contract with the owner stating that he would do so. Not only has the owner/company refused to return to finish cutting down and grinding the stump, but he has refused to even reply to my phone messages. The last I heard from him was 11/28/20 when he promised me that he would do it next weekend. That was about a month ago. I was a nice guy who gave Mr. Kilby my business and was very flexible and accommodating around the holidays, and sadly he took advantage of me.

Comments: I was referred by a family member. I spoke to the owner, who was very professional and knowledgeable. I have received two quotes from two other local companies and his was better. Even though his office is two hours away, they showed up on time and cut down three trees in a timely matter. Staff was all friendly and professional. They done such a great job, I referred them to my elderly parents and they also were very satisfied.

Comments: The trees nearby my house needed trimming to reduce the dead branches, and remove some of the ones hanging over my house. They worked quickly, cut up the branches so I could use them as firewood, and were overall very friendly.

Comments: I was looking for bi-weekly lawn care. He came looked at the job. We agreed on a price and he said he'd be here on Sunday. He said he'd call before he came. I texted on Sunday to see if he was still coming, no response. Today is Tuesday and still no response.
