Work Description: Removed ~90 ft Cottonwood
Comments: I was extremely pleased with the service we received from Ken and his team. I hired him to remove a Cottonwood that was starting to die. Due to the size and location on our lot, it wasn't accessible with typical crane equipment, and the trunk was located about 10" from a fence.It took 3 days to complete the job. They were very careful about their work, controlling the fall of many branches with ropes, and when it came time to drop sections of the main trunk, they were consistently dropped in the same spot so that it didn't make a mess of the yard with big divots everywhere.
When the job was done, they did a great job cleaning both our yard and the neighbor's yard (the one with whom we share that fence) and he was so impressed, he actually went out of his way to call me to express his satisfaction with their clean up!
My girlfriend had similar trees removed from the the same area of the yard about 4 years ago, and she noted that this team did a markedly better and safer job than the last crew, and both she and the neighbor noted that they cleaned up much better as well.
I'm looking forward to working with Ken on planting some replacement trees.

Comments: WOMEN BEWARE. I would not recommend this company. My tree snapped and Ken removed branches around the thick limb that snapped. I inquired if he was going to cut down the split area and he said it was fine and didn't pose a threat. Common sense would tell anyone that with another good wind or heavy snow, it is a huge threat. If you want a job HALF DONE, this is your company. If you want a COMPLETE JOB, don't waste your time or money, I can't believe he didn't address the heavy split limb. It bothers me to write a bad review about a minority company as I am a minority. I certified minority/women owned businesses for years. I don't appreciate feeling taken advantage of as a women or being looked at as stupid. If you are called for a snapped tree you address the issue and not work around it (doing the minimal). Ken told me he would come back and resolve the issue to avoid a bad review. It has been a week and I haven't heard a word. I texted him and he did not respond. Ken left me no other choice.Lakewood CO
