We provide a wide range of skills and capabilities from small handyman jobs, to larger jobs such as bathroom and kitchen remodels to small additions. We also provide custom built furniture; such as built-in bookcases, hutches, wine racks and more.

Work Description: Powder Room, Laundry Room, and Bathroom Renovation
Comments: Absolutely the worst experience we have ever had with a contractor. More like a handyman who bit off more than he could chew. From inaccurate project management, to the disrespectful careless subcontractors used, to their lack of care with the finish work - I am amazed that these people call themselves "professionals". When our small renovation was complete, we expected to see 'new' spaces....smooth walls, clean/straight lines, etc... Well, their idea of finished turns out to be bare minimum effort and when they would come back to "fix" something, something else would end up damaged. Bulls in a china shop, if you will... They broke windows, scratched up our floors, drilled into our new tile shower ON THE WRONG SIDE, installed our new glass shower door incorrectly, and the list goes on. I finally told them I didn't want them to return. I needed my house back. After all........they started in MARCH and it is now June.Hindsight is 20/20 and we should have gone with the guy who priced it a little higher. Terrible, terrible experience. We are now slowly fixing, touching up, and cleaning up after these hirelings.

Comments: I hired this company to completely remake my living room mantle around my gas insert. They came in and covered furniture and flooring and completed the job in a timely manner. The mantle came out better than i ever imagined. It is now totally the center of our living room. They cleaned up and vacuumed before leaving.

Work Description: Full Renovation for Staircase and Structural Strength
Comments: My wife and I have an 1824 Colonial and the original framework for our main staircase was still in service. We could tell that there had certainly been attempts to repair and/or reinforce everything throughout the years, but the bottom line was that the framework was just not structurally sound enough as we noticed that treads were beginning to crack and pull away from the risers. Having a toddler at home already and another one one the way, we were no longer comfortable using these stairs on daily basis.After an initial consultation with Josh and an estimate that we were happy with, we decided to hire him and move forward with the job. We are so glad that we did. Work started in early February and we knew from day 1 that we had made the right choice. Day in and day out we could tell that Josh and his team strongly adhered to the idea that "building it once means building it right", a statement that is prominently displayed at the top of their website. Every facet of the job, from demolition to finish and detail work was done very meticulously with great care in a way that never impacted the integrity of surrounding structures and framework. Josh and his team were ALWAYS very friendly, professional and respectful of us, our pets and our home, all of which are intangibles that are just as important as the work itself.
As with any renovation, there were naturally some setbacks. Living north of Boston, ours came in the form of winter weather and historically cold temperatures. There were days when Josh and his guys were not able to make it out to our house due to travel concerns, which we were perfectly fine with as safety has to be the first priority. On such days, Josh was great about communicating with us and letting us know how the schedule would be impacted, which we really appreciated. Even though the job ran longer than originally anticipated, the original price estimate remained exactly the same, which was awesome. For anyone having any work done at their home I feel like "over schedule and over budget" are an all too common theme. We greatly appreciated Josh's honesty as he always assured us that the estimate would not be impacted by the schedule.
In the end, we got our staircase back and it's so great knowing that they are now more structurally sound than they ever were. The custom framing that Josh and his team spent so much time on is unbelievable, but the part of the job that you do see - the treads, risers, railing and trim - looks as though it's always been there. As owners of a historic home, that was super important to us.
In summary, I could go on and on about how great a job Josh and his guys did at our house, but the work speaks for itself and you'll realize this the moment you hire him. We've already recommended him to some neighbors that need some work done and also have plans for additional work at our house in the future.

Comments: Josh and his crew have done a handful of jobs for me at my house. I'm a first time home buyer on the north shore. They have patched drywall, installed doors, changed locks and even helped me put together a raised garden bed. They are always very professional, clean and safe. I did check Josh's insurance credentials as well, he has commercial auto, commercial general liability and workers compensation coverage for his crew. Work Description: Josh was hired to replace an old bow window with new construction double hung windows and to strip a faux tudor finish from the front gables of our house, replacing with new cedar shake siding.
Comments: Josh and his crew worked efficiently and kept a clean work site. They were very respectful of the property and also of my wife and myself and our family - we have two small boys who were always watching. There was a constant line of communication and any changes or recommendations during the construction process were transparent and well documented. Work Description: We were introduced to ("Joshua Tebou Carpentry & Woodworking Services"), through a friend that holds membership in the BNI organization. Our goal was to just replace a 1/2 Bath vanity along with a new stone top. Well that was not to be! Joshua was invited to our home in order to estimate the work & cost requirements. He turned out to be a breath of fresh air; with all sorts of great idea's relating to design & function.
We decided to Nantucket Bead-board the walls from floor to about 4 feet- capped with a chair-rail & extra tall decorative baseboard. Joshua designed & fabricated a built-in vanity with 2 large doors & faux drawer front. Once all the carpentry was completed - Joshua arranged to have the painting (walls, vanity, ceiling, all woodwork), painted through the professional & artistic touch of master painter Mr. John Burke. The finished project is absolutely beautiful & stunning. I would be re-miss in not mentioning Kandice Tebou (Joshua's wife). She controls the business office & maintains the scheduling of all of Joshua's work & sub tradesmen, plus the ordering of all material's. This allows Joshua valuable time to concentrate on his carpentry. "Communication" between client & tradesman is the secret to a successful relationship towards completing a project on time & on cost. We highly recommend Joshua Tebou if you are contemplating a large or small remodeling project.

Comments: He put in a concrete pad, re-anchored the top of the stairs, and shaped the treads to join the fieldstone foundation on one side of the stairway.
