Work Description: Animal infestation and water leaks.
Comments: We recently purchased a new home and shortly afterwards realized we had a major problem with animal infestation and water leaks. The entire problem turned out to be a $30,000.00 plus repair job. Ron Housman helped us identify the scope of work and fix the long list of issues. Moreover, he worked directly with our insurance carrier to make sure that the whole effort would be recovered, resulting in a big decrease in our "out-of-pocket" costs.The house is better than ever and we owe Ron our gratitude for all of his hard work. He is very knowledgeable, easy to work with and, perhaps most importantly, he was on our side throughout the process.”

Comments: I was introduced to Housman Construction in fall of 2007 to discuss a structural issue, and potential remodel of my home. After meeting with other contractors, I signed with Housman Construction as he seemed to understand, as well as contribute, to my ideas. The time and care spent to protect my home and valuables from the construction process was really appreciated. The site was kept clean and safe. As I was a full-time working single mom with a five year old, this extra care and consideration went a long way.Housman Construction went above and beyond in their work ethic, skill level, honesty, and general timeliness of the project being completed. Ron had a vision and the remodeled end-result went far above my expectations. His concept of architectural design and ideas was exceptional, and beyond anything I could have envisioned.
The project included major structural changes due to the removal of a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and living room, as well as the removal of a large fireplace to add square footage to the new open floor plan. I was left with a sharp updated floor plan, a beautiful new kitchen and great room area, and a Wow factor that I receive every time someone walks through the front door of my home.
I cannot thank Ron enough for his personal investment of time, energy, experience, and attention to detail. Comments: Housman Construction has done various projects for us over the years which have resulted in extremely professional outcomes. Of note has been a complete reroofing of one of our homes and the installation of beautiful French doors from a family room to a deck. An interior design improvement in our family room resulted in the company installing a new Italian marble fireplace hearth which is gorgeous.In our new house, Housman Construction has recently completed a highly custom permanent wall unit in the family room to include multiple book shelves and locations for a 50 inch TV, CD and DVD players. This piece is, in fact, precision furniture quality work.
This is an honest, fair and devoted company that does expert work with leadership that really cares and is focused on final quality.”

Comments: Ron at Housman Construction worked closely with me in a consultative manner to assess what work needed to be completed to prepare my home for sale. Ron took the time to listen to my needs and helped me prioritize the work in a logical sequence that met my budget. From plumbing to electrical, and exterior and interior repairs, he had the experience and knowledge to plan and complete the repairs I needed. I never got the feeling he was trying to over sell me on repairs. He has an honest approach that provided me with the facts and allowed me to make decisions with no pressure. He went above and beyond to let me know about specialty materials available, and even went with me to a salvage warehouse in Detroit, where we found one of a kind fixtures that gave a customized look to the finished product. All work was performed on budget and schedule, and the craftsmanship showed the passion they have for high quality results. I am very pleased with the results of the work performed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Housman Construction to my friends and family.-
