Comments: Rich Hoffman is the best contractor for any project related to home improvement. Since day one when we met Rich, he gave us the reassurance that his number one mission was our satisfaction. I needed to replace parts of our deck, which upon further inspection turned out to be a full replacement. The house is an old house and we did not know what to expect, but Rich came in and was great at evaluating and giving me the best quote out there.My husband is currently deployed overseas and with so many things happening with my family, I was not always able to be on site to supervise the work being done, but Rich made me feel at ease. He went above and beyond to complete the work in a timely manner. Rich took it upon himself to help me with anything related to the completion of the town permits as well as the township inspections. He and his crew were very punctual and very hard working individuals. They came early and left late. Always communicating with me and giving me updates about the project. The deck came out to be the talk of the town, but for the good reasons and I don’t say this lightly! All the neighbors that pass our home ask who did such amazing work and of course I brag that “our contractor” Rich and his crew did the project!
I also got the great pleasure of meeting his wife, Laurie., who is an amazing individual that really helped me look at things differently and with her expertise made me feel peace of mind; they essentially took my problems and made it theirs. I will be forever grateful to them.
I recommend Hoffman Construction for any home improvement projects. They did an excellent job making our home look like a million bucks! They took all the debris and left my home clean as if no construction project had just been finished there. I can’t wait to have my next project done by such great guys. Comments: When we recently decided to renovate our basement, we did not hesitate to call Rich of Hoffmann Construction. Last year, he renovated our master bathroom. He did such a wonderful job that it was a no brainer to call him again. Redoing our basement included flooring, building a closet, improving the lighting, redoing the ceiling, painting and adding a full bathroom. Rich provided a thorough inspection of the space and then gave us a written detailed scope of work with a fair estimate. We can’t say enough about Rich. Comments: Rich and his crew were great! However, the reason we originally hired Hoffmann is all because of Laurie! She was super responsive, answered the phone or called back immediately. It’s a family business and it shows. She took the time to speak to us and was super knowledgeable and genuinely cared! ( you don’t find that often!) On to the work- They gutted and completely renovated my very dated Powder room and turned it into a beautiful space. I have trouble putting pieces together, but I do know what I like. Rich was super helpful and patient. He even found my beautiful marble flooring on sale, which made it doable!!! They arrived when they said they would- they did beautiful work and truly wanted me to not only like the work they did, they wanted me to love it! Comments: We hired Hofmann's Construction to convert a garage into an in-law suite. The only problem we had was it wasn't enough space to add everything we needed so we wanted to expand and add a room. We had gotten a few quotes and Rich won us over. Not only did he give us a very reasonable price but he offered other ideas and ways to keep the cost down. He stuck to his original price while throwing in a few things for free and making a few changes he thought would look better( with our approval of course). They showed up on time every day and always cleaned up after themselves. Rich and his crew not only did a great job but they finish earlier than expected. Comments: One thing I always look for when reading reviews is comments from repeat customers. When I see a buisiness with repeat customers it confirms to me the consistency and quality of the work. My wife and I are repeat customers of Hofmann's construction. Rich first worked on remodeling our master bathroom which you can see in the pictures posted as the grey bathroom. We were so happy with how it turned out and the great experience we had with Rich that we asked him to remodel our guest bathroom "bubble" bathroom as we call it because of the accent we used. The pictures are also posted on his website for your reference. We also asked him to remodel our powder room. Again he exceeded our expectations. Comments: Rich and his team know the secret to business success: if you're good to your customers they'll keep coming back.This is the second job they did for me. For the first job, I didn't know them from Adam and was a little nervous hiring them. But they did a PHENOMENAL job putting up our fence and so this year, I didn't even hesitate; when we decided it was time to replace the siding on our house, I just emailed Rich.
He and I discussed what I wanted and what the options were. He gave me a price that, while not rock bottom, seemed very fair to me, and if you could see the results, you'd agree. Every little detail just came out flawlessly. Rich has a great sense of humor, but don't let that fool you: the man is a perfectionist who takes pride in his work. He is not happy unless you are, and he will do whatever it takes to make sure that happens.
For instance, a trivial example. Today was the last day of the job. He and his crew had been baking and toiling in the heat for days putting up our siding, and they're finally done. His guys clean everything up and leave ... only he forgot to clear away some debris in the basement.
I hadn't even noticed but he's only gone maybe five minutes when HE messages ME asking if if it's ok if he can come back to the house to finish cleaning up. When's the last time you worked with a contractor with that sense of responsibility?
We have a growing list of things we want to do in our house, and Rich is going to be our go-to guy for everything for years to come. By know we know that he's the man who will get it done right the first time and for a fair price. When you find a business like that, you stay with it.

Comments: We are very happy."Hofmann's construction did an outstanding job on our master bathroom renovation. Rich the owner and his crew made our dream bathroom a reality. I got quotes from a number of contractors before deciding on Hofmann's construction. We did get cheaper quotes but we were looking for quality and affordability. Ever heard of the term you get what you pay for? Let me start by saying that the owner "Rich" was a part of every step in our renovation. Rich was at our home on time as promised and completed the job within the timeline he committed to. I have heard horror stories about contractors but Rich is a class act and a man of his word. The attention to detail both in materials, craftsmanship and design ideas was far beyond my expectations and I do have high expectations. As all projects they get changed as they go along. We totally changed our design idea from a country bathroom with palat walls to a classy elegant style bathroom and Rich was very helpful in our design ideas by sharing insights and suggestions which were all spot on. He took the time to ask us what we liked and quickly got a sense of our style and design preference. We are so happy with his work we scheduled our kids bathroom to be completely renovated in the next 2 weeks and are already discussing next years kitchen renovation with him. Comments: I got three estimates. Rich came in higher than the others but did much more. He suggested things with no pressure at all !He has a great artistic eye that made the project better than i pictured. Rich took time from his evening to meet us at Home Depot to pick out all the materials that we wanted. We were so pleased with the results that i signed him up to rebuild our front porch; same fantastic results !! Work Description: Install two gates on the deck and build a cat house.
Comments: Excellent customer service is an understatement when you're talking about Hoffman Construction! Rich came and did the estimate and waited patiently for me to call when I was ready for him to do the work. His wife is so kind, I always felt like I was talking to an old friend when I called the office.We were concerned about our dogs being upset, but Rich charmed them instantly. Both my daughter and I were stressed out about two contractors coming at once, but Rich assured us there would be no problem. I went off to work confident my daughter could handle it.
I guess I should have asked for an enclosed cat porch, because I had in my mind a rectangular box with chicken wire wrapped around it. I'm sure glad I didn't explain it right, because I came home to a two-story home for my cat, carpeted, with a scratching post. The cat house is GORGEOUS, and built better than my own home.
After it was all built, my daughter said she was surprised it didnt have a window. I had not explained it to Rich correctly, but he willingly cut a hole on that beautiful house and installed a screened window.
Then he built gates on our large deck that are solid and well put together. He works magic with wood. I would trust him to work on any project at all.
When that job was done, my daughter asked if she could sand the screws so they would be flush with the wood. Rich asked why she wanted it that way, and she explained that her one-year-old baby might get cut on them. Rich said he hadn't thought of that, and actually REMOVED the screws and did the job over with screws that were flush with the wood! My daughter said Rich's concern to make us happy added at least a couple hours to his day - but he did not charge any extra.
I'm making a list of everything that needs to be done on our house and intend to keep Rich as busy as I can afford to each month. My home will look better every time Rich has a hand on it. I am very impressed with his work and his persona.

Work Description: Bathroom was to be completely gutted adding floor to ceiling tiles with an alcove set in the wall for shelving.
Comments: We took four estimates and narrowed our decision to two contractors. Rich spoke with confidence and certainty and his estimate was within range of the other contractors. Right at the outset we could see we made the right choice for Rich met us at Home Depot to select our materials and we never felt rushed during that evening. When we asked for suggestions he was very helpful in his response without being pushy.We are a bit fussy and that was no problem for Rich. He was patient with us as his desire was for us to be pleased with the outcome of the job. The toilet we chose had a bit of a slant and in tightening it, the ceramic bowl broke. Rich took responsibility-not only to replace the toilet-but absorbed the cost for extra shipping to expedite the delivery so we would not be further delayed. From start to finish, the entire project took about 2 1/2 weeks.
The glass shelves for the alcove would not be in for 2 weeks, so Rich placed wooden shelving in there for me so I was able to use the space right away.
We have many more projects to do around our place and have adopted Rich as our permanent 'Go To Contractor' and would highly recommend him to you!

Work Description: I hired Hofmann’s Construction to remodel my kitchen. The scope of work included - removal of existing flooring and cabinets, all new carpentary and wood work (install new solid wood flooring, kithen cabinets, trimming and moldings), removal and installation of new heating baseboards, new waterline for the fringe and installation of the backsplash tiles.
Comments: I am very happy with the new kithcen, it is is beautiful after the renovation. Rich Hofmann, the owner, did a terrific job from start to finish. Rich is meticulous, he went above and beyond and exceled at meeting my needs and satisfaction. I would highly recommend him for any small or big projects if you want a good, professional and reliable contractor.Price – I got 5 quotes, Hofmann’s price was very reasonable. It was the 2nd lowest among the quotes. I did not use the lowest price as I trusted Rich who said on his first visit he would fully insure customer satisfaction for his work. In additon, I also read the reviews and the job pictures of this work to get the feel of his customers. This was crucial to my choosing a trustworthy contractor. It appreared his customers were all very happy with the job Hofmann Construction performed.
Time Management – The mudroom shares the same water pipes and drains with the kithcen. It would have been a hassle and disrupting if I had no kitchen and laundry for a few weeks, Rich was willing to expedite and work on the weekend from Friday to Monday so as to allow the granite template to be done on Monday and the installation on Thursday. Hofmann’s Construction finished the backsplash tiles and hooked up the pipes and drains on Friday. The entire kitchen was completed in ONE week with very little disruption.
Concern for my needs – To minimize the cause of inconvenience, Rich offered to build a tempoary sink at no additional cost while we were waiting for the graniate installation. It was a BIG PLUS as he considered the customer’s need.
Additional Work – As always, there were some unexpected problems at site. In my experience, some contractors were reluntant to do extra and would nickel and dime you for any extra work. Rich was very easy to work with, found his way to do the best with no/minimal cost incurred, this was also a BIG PLUS.
Positive Work Attitude – Rich and Randy were always pleasant, courteous and fun to work with even when they were stressed to resolve unforseen problems.
This is the contactor you want to keep. I HIGHLY recommend using them.

Comments: I was a little nervous hiring these guys at first because I hadn't worked with them before. I needn't have worried: the guys from Hofmann's Construction were AWESOME. They were on time, professional, and not only did they do everything as promised, they went out of their way to ensure that every single detail came out right.Rich took the time to understand our particular needs (which are eccentric) and he made sure they were met. He told me at the beginning that he wouldn't be done until we were satisfied, and wouldn't you know it, he was telling the truth! He even did a final walkthrough once everything was done just to make sure I was happy with how things had turned out. (I was) I have no doubt that if something hadn't have been to our liking, he would have fixed it. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary.
It's such a relief to deal with a contractor who does everything right the first time. No delays, no excuses, no mistakes. and no cost overruns Everything right on time for the promised price.
