Comments: Worst experience of my life. He has no employees and depend on Day Labors to perform the work. He treated my job as if it was a side job. The work he did do was always after 5pm. He constantly makes excuses when he cant deliver...blaming everything on the rain. All I wanted was a 10x10 concrete slab. This wasn't a big job, all he needed to do was form it a pour a level slab. I paid him half for the job, but as a result of his incompetence I terminated his service and took the lost. I am in the process of hiring a component to complete the jobSchertz TX

Comments: The crew was professional and prompt. There was coordination with some neighbors that went smoothly and the place was left in a cleaner state than they came.The materials used were of good quality and everything appears solid.
The job took a little longer than estimated and the materials went up in price. This keeps it from being an ideal rating, but Mr. Hathorne runs a tight ship and the crew working with him was very good.

Work Description: Install a Wood Fence
Comments: I spoke to four different fence contractors. Three of them gave us proposals, but only one called the week after delivering his proposal to ask if we had questions or would like to discuss the proposal. He was also the only one that measured our fence accurately. The other contractors we 40 to 60 linear feet short when the measured. When I compared the price per linear foot Hathorn was the least expensive and most comprehensive bid. Mark Hathorn even recommended some minor improvements that would make our new fence look even better once completed. He was at our home every day working with his crew and making sure the job was done professionally. At the end of the week he walked the fence with me to make note of any minor issues and completed the corrections himself the next day. Mark assisted us in selecting the appropriate stain for our fence and bought 25 gallons of it through his supplier with his contractor discount. This saved us over $30 per can and a total of more than $150 in total. We could not be happier with our fence and have gotten tons of complements from friends and family members who visited or saw the photos we posted on FB. We have also recommended Mark Hathorn and his team to several people we know. If you want a high quality fence done right call Hathorn. TonyB
