Work Description: Power wash house, fence and sidewalk around the house, replace deck boards, siding.Comments: Please do not hire this contractor. He was not punctual. He made excuses for not coming. He lied about having a crew of workers. He did not power wash my fence; he sprayed bleach on it with a canister. He tore up the deck and stated that he paid $200.00 for the boards that were in his van however, this writer priced the boards at Home Depot and Loews and the boards cost approximately 6 dollars a piece. He stated he was a "man of the lord" but he did not display Christian behavior. If anything the behavior he displayed was Lazy and dishonest.

Work Description: Drywall for our ceiling and baseboards.Comments: Kevin did a walk through of our home and looked at all the repairs that needed to be done. He gave us a quote and the cost was pretty good, but you know what they say, "You get what you pay for!" The guys did drywall for part of the ceiling and Kevin added texture. He said you wouldn't even notice the transition but you can! At first he said a guy would be back in a couple of days to paint but then changed it and said we had to paint. I asked if he was going to do the crown molding and he said that wasn't in the agreement. He was suppose to do baseboards the same day but said he forgot the baseboards and would come back the next day. He was an hour or so late. They left the baseboards unfinished and so when my husband got home that evening he gave him a call and asked why they left it like that (no caulking to fill the gaps), Kevin said we didn't ask for a finished product. He said when he looked at it he wasn't happy but left anyways. We had originally asked him to do more work but that will not be happening! We ended up doing the caulking and painting ourselves and are going to hire someone else to do the other work. If you are looking for someone to give you the run-a-round, unfinished jobs, someone to be late, price confusion on what is included and what isn't, then this is your guy! NEVER again!! Only good thing I can say is that one of the other guys helping out was very polite.
Work Description: I hired Ryan to do finishing spackle coats in two bathrooms, a bedroom and kitchen. The area of most concern was the 13'x9' kitchen ceiling, which was extremely uneven after a popcorn ceiling coat was removed. I told Ryan I was looking for paint-ready work and he gave me an excellent price and was able to start the next day. However, he only sanded the initial joint compound put up by another contractor instead of doing a whole skim coat.Comments: When I pointed out he hadn't addressed my job's top priority, he became defensive and said it wasn't his fault. He said he had tried to tell me plastering the ceiling was the only way to fix it...but honestly I never heard him mention that...nor did he give me a price for it. I would have appreciated it if he had simply asked for more money to do the ceiling right...or if he had told me upfront all he could do to fix that ceiling was sand what had previously been done. I am extremely unsatisfied but like to be fair...so I did compensate him for his time at a reduced rate.

Work Description: Worked fast and efficient. Was a great experience.Comments: Will hire them to do any future work. Thx for a great job.
Work Description: Had something removed from my roofComments: Received a quick call back. Given a time in which he did it earlier. Was very satisfied!
Work Description: Repaint cabinetsComments: I would hire them again! I had a handyman come out and paint my kitchen cabinets. He did a horrible job!!! I called Ryan and he was out same day (which was a Sunday) to give me a quote. He worked around my schedule, and days I wasn't available I gave him a spare key to my home. Him and his wife went beyond what was asked going as far as to let my dogs out for me, buy treats for my son, and gift for my newborn. The job took a little longer than we hoped, however considering the amount of work that needed to be done (all by hand), and the quality of work we received I was fine with it. My kitchen looks exactly how I wanted, and we are continuously told how beautiful it is. They were a pleasure to have in my home, and I would recommend them to anyone.
Work Description: I requested staining of a front porch and back deck. The complete project included initial pressure washing of both areas.Comments: Although the work was completed I would have liked to see more Punctuality, and Quality from Mr. Hagins.
Quality: There are areas of my home's door trims and white deck areas that were stripped from the pressure washing and white areas that now have visible stain left behind.
Punctuality:The total time to complete took longer than the originally quoted 2 days and Mr. Hagins did not promptly show up at agreed upon times.

Work Description: A company just threw up a sloppy fence and the contractor was able to cut and customize it. He worked with my budget and am very happy that the fence is beautiful. And I was able to get the vision I wanted. Definitely will be working with this company several more times.Comments: I realized that calling several people wasn't going to work, but, it was nice to know you can find one person that can do all household maintenance. And a fair price was a bonus.
Work Description: Replaced leaking shower floor, pan and sub-floor, then retiled shower floor, replaced 1 window, patched a hole in ceiling and re-mudded entire ceiling.Comments: ***DO NOT HIRE***
Very cheap but you will get what you pay for!
Had to come back to redo the job 4 times and now it's leaking worse then when he started.
Never on time, got plaster ALL OVER my bathroom, used improper materials, disposed of all debrie in my trash can (wood, concreat, tile etc..), haulling none of it away, and asked for more money to do what was written in the inital quote.
-Gave vauge arrival times and would still be at least an hour late, some times not showing up at all despite multiple phone calls telling you he is "almost on his way". I've literally wasted whole days waiting for him just to get a phone call saying he is not coming (Always had an excuse ready as to why though).
-Replaced a window but it looks like he ran out of caulk 2/3 of the way around and said F*** it. Plus he left the old window laying in a corner behind a couch and the wrapping from the new window in the middle of the floor.
-I had him patch the hole I cut in my ceiling when I discovered my shower initally leaking and re-plaster the whole ceiling to pattern match so you couldn't tell any thing was ever wrong and he did a great job on the new ceiling texture/pattern but the patch was so obvious he might as well not even bothered.
-While plastering the ceiling he got plaster EVERY WHERE. It was gobbed and smeared; in my bathtub, in the sink, on the wall, the floor, and little bits of spatter every where else (you would have thought I was paying him to spakel the place, toilet in all)
-The shower, (I'll try to summerize best I can) asked for more money to remove ROTTING floor boards I was already paying him to remove after trying to get me to let him LEAVE THEM IN!!! I paid him extra to remove a row of tiles so they could be re-used (the batch was discontinued) but he smashed them anyway. We had at least 5 seprate discutions the I emphasized the necessity of the shower floor having a uniform slope in all directions leading to the drain with no puddle spots, I even asked hm to pull 2 tiles and redo their grade because it was reversed. . . He didn't pull them and the first time we used the shower the grout came up and there was 3 puddles spots and of course it leaked.
-The re-work, I'm tired of writing so... he came back 4 times, one of which was to glue down the shower drain ( I guess he forgot to do it the first time) then he sprayed vent and roofing sealant all over the shower floor leaving a thin film that held for a week before comming up, next he pulled the tiles and tried to spray the same vent sealant down again but I made him use the correct kind made for underwater use (I called a plumber and had to go buyit my self).
-The end result of all this being, it leaked worse then when he started, ruining the entire ceiling below instead of the small spot from the origanal leak. I stopped calling him back to try and fix his mess since it is clearly beyond him and have hired some one new.
-New contractor discovered why it was leaking;
instead of Durock, he used regular old "melts in water" sheetrock and the rubber barrier he was suppose to put down was more of a sheet on the floor making no attempt to go up the wall at least 6-8 inches (or even near it for that matter) to acctually creat a waterproof barrier.
Never let this man in your home, he could f*** up a soup sandwitch.
To steal a quote from Jeff Foxworthy "I would rather slam my wennie in a slidding glass door" then hire Kevin Hagins again.
Work Description: Roof and ceiling repairComments: The handymen were awesome! They fit in my repair a day ahead of when they said it could be done! They made sure everything was cleaned up, they answered all questions thoroughly and didn't make me feel like I was bothersome because I wanted to understand the process. The price was great as well. I will definitely choose HH Handyman Solutions in the future if I need any work done!
