Comments: In a few words – absolutely fantastic all around, professional team, and quality product!My husband and I cannot thank Green Knight Metal Roofing enough! We had been dealing with hill country wind issues and had been considering a metal roof for a while. After talking with multiple companies we decided on Green Knight Metal Roofing because of their competitive prices, custom metal work, and years of experience.
Shortly after signing contracts we found ourselves in the midst of a previous-home-owners-bad-decision-on-contractor disaster (half the roof flew off in the wind…really…) and Green Knight was able to move us up on the list and within the week get a roof on our house before nature could strike again! Their team showed up right on time and worked together with incredible speed and skill – two days is all it took and we had a full metal roof on our 1,800sq foot home.
Brett, Brett, and the whole rest of the team are a pleasure to work with and make the whole process seamless. Anyone considering taking the plunge and investing in a solid, long lasting, good looking metal roof should look no further than Green Knight Metal Roofing!

Work Description: Metal roof installation on residence
Comments: Green Knight Metal Roofing (www.greenknight.com) did an excellent job replacing our metal roof. We did extensive research regarding meal roofing and contractors due to the cost and we wanted to get it right the first time. Searched the Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) (https://www.metalroofing.com) which provided excellent information and a list of contractors. We developed a detailed list of questions regarding the type of metal roofing, the thickness, the coating applied, warranties for the roofing and installation, and asked for references. Sent to the questions to contractors found using MRA, Angie’s List, Home Advisor, and Thumbtack. Over half the contractors did not even respond. Narrowed the list down to four by using the Better Business Bureau reviews and customer reviews found on the Internet. Got three quotes. Two quotes were very close. Went with Green Knight based upon, price, customer reviews, references, quality of home demonstration, and no pressure to sign a contract. Brett Laughlin and Shane were very informative and got answers to all our questions and provided information on some areas we were not smart enough to ask during the home demonstration! Large residential project with over 8,000 square feet of roof removal, installation of sheathing and weather proofing, and installation of standing rib metal roof. Project Manager Bret Smith and his crew were very professional and accommodating when some surprises were found (rot and lack of insulation and adequate attic ventilation). Did not nickel and dime us. Crew was led by Alex who kept us informed of progress and any issues that arose. Alex and his crew always cleaned up each evening prior to leaving the house. Overall excellent experience and would highly recommend Green Knight as your metal roofing contractor.
