Work Description: General Contractor
Comments: I am Darren Walker, the General Manager of a hotel which is part of one of the largest hotel company in the world. I wish to highly recommend Rosaly Alfaro and using his company, Good Start Construction LLC. I have known Mr. Alfaro since December of 2013. Over the past several years, Mr. Alfaro has professionally preformed several jobs as a general contractor for me. Some of the projects he has been in charge of are:• Demolition and replacing old concreate in a twenty square foot entrance way for the hotel.
• Removing four old bath tub surrounds and replacing them with four new surrounds. The work included all of the plumbing that needed to be refitted to fit the new tub surrounds.
• Repairing and replacing fencing on the property that a truck had damaged.
• Mr. Alfaro successfully implemented a new welcoming guest patio area. He had to remove the roots of trees, grass, and dig out and area for the guest patio area and laid stone pavers. The guest’s absolutely love the area and it has been a great asset to the hotel’s outdoor appeal. Also, he laid a concrete extension for the guest’s grilling area.
• He has worked on plumbing issues that the hotel’s Chief Engineer could not fix.
• On a personal note, Mr. Alfaro did such great jobs with the hotel I asked him if he could assist me in remodeling the bathrooms and kitchen in my condominium. Mr. Alfaro was reasonable when quoting me a price. The job he did by installing two new bathroom vanities, all new kitchen cabinets, and new kitchen tiling has definitely increased the value of my house. He also worked with me in replacing a fence at my home to meet the Home Owners Associations requirements.
Mr. Alfaro is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and a great general contractor that I will continue to use for all of my contracting work. He is easy to work with and understands the vision and budget given to him. He honest and has great integrity, which to me is very important because I am not as savvy as a professional general contractor and Mr. Alfaro has always gained my trust with each new project. Also, I have recommended him to other General Managers for work at their hotels and their feedback has always been excellent. They were extremely happy with his work.
