Work Description: roof installation of asphalt shingles
Comments: When requesting bids to re-roof my house and replace some siding and do some painting, the principal of Golden Rule, Randy, spoke to me on the phone. He was very personable and easy to talk to. I happened to mention that I had a small section where shingles had blown loose. When his people came by to do the estimate, I was quite surprised that they also sent one of their construction foremen, Arturo, along with some shingles that matched my roof. While I was talking with the estimator, Arturo, removed the loose shingles and replaced with the new matching shingles. The estimator told me that they had viewed photos of my home and knew the color of my shingles, and there was no charge to patch that area. When I had received bids from a number of companies, Golden Rule's was one of the lowest (if not the very lowest ... can't recall). I was already impressed by the kindness of patching my roof without charging me, and I liked the people I dealt with, and had read a lot of great reviews, so I hired Golden Rule to do the work. The work is all complete now and was done very professionally and within a relatively short time span, and I am very pleased with the results. The construction foreman, Arturo, was very good about contacting me and telling me when work would be done, and answered all my questions, and gave good suggestions when I asked. Besides the good-looking roof, the new siding was cut correctly to fit into triangular corners, was well-caulked at the seams, and professionally painted. Expert work done at a very competitive price! I definitely recommend Golden Rule!
