Work Description: Installation of a Tankless Hot water Heater
Comments: We lost hot water recently and Dave was able to repair the problem and get us up and running again. Today the furnace went out and Dave was once again able to get it up and running. What I really like about Dave is that he always answers the call and gets us up and running quickly. I like to know what the problem was and what the next repair might be and the cost (due to the age of the Tankless and Furnace)-he shows me and explains the problem and then is happy to discuss the possibilities of what might be next. Comments: I cannot be more grateful that I found Go Tankless! Recently having bought a house and not knowing what you're really getting yourself into - we came home one day to no more hot water...with a relatively new Navien tankless boiler! Called around, both independent contractors and larger outfits: the response was either too busy and couldn't make it out for a week or more OR the bigger guys seemed almost fearful of the Navien unit and potential warranty ramifications! Really...but I want to pay you to simply have hot water for me and my kids! Anyways - I left Go Tankless a message not expected a return call - got a call on Sunday and he came out Monday!! It was seriously a miracle. He fought for warranty on the parts for me and was able to get the whole system back up and running by mid week. Work Description: Installation of a Tankless Boiler
Comments: I have recently become a proud owner of a Navien NCB-E Combi-boiler.Although I had some reservations as to whether such a small machine could supply all of our families hot water and heat needs, this unit works like a charm! I had a 20 year old Sears H2O heater and a 20 year old boiler which took up a lot of space in my utility room and there was no extra space for anything.
I was told by other contractors that I would need to install a smaller capacity hot water heater as a same sized heater would no longer fit. The thought of a smaller capacity heater when we often ran out of hot water was not good news. When I researched tank-less hot water heaters the reviews were mixed (One had to run the water for a long time to get hot water, water wasn't hot enough, etc.).
I feel very fortunate to have found Dave Emmitt and Navien technology. While no other contractor suggested the possibility of a combination unit, I was reluctant to take the plunge. That said, I really wanted to gain the space in my utility room and have as much hot water as we needed.
Dave was able to address my concerns with earnest information that made me feel comfortable.
Please beware... contractors are required to attend special training school to be able to install this product and most contractors don't have the dedication to do this. The technology is complex, but Dave is a very smart and talented person. He is also a very genuine, hard working person who is pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Dave and Navien!
